I don’t have a completely flat stomach I thin but my stomach just isn’t flat, and that makes me extremely self conscious about myself. But if I was the one getting their stomach zoomed in on and I watched it I would be embarrassed and in tears. That’s disgusting what they did to those poor girls.

Not at all they have plenty of girls with a range of hair colours and back grounds. They want girls who are fit and professional dancers. You'd really struggle to find a professional dancer who isnt fit and toned. Someone who isnt fit and toned wont be able to keep up with what they do. Of course they need someone flexible.. they do a forehead height kick line every show
Being flexible is obviously a requirement due to the fact that it’s a DANCE TEAM. They do forehead high kicks and jump splits. They need dancers with experience and a lot of the ones that get accepted into boot camp are actually classical trained. Being skinny isn’t a requirement neither is being toned. All you need it to have the stamina, showmanship, energy, and ability to perform perfectly each time with a smile. You need to have a passion for what you do. A lot of those girls that weren’t accepted weren’t accepted cause of their bodies, they weren’t accepted because they repeated a lot of their choreography, they weren’t flexible, they didn’t know proper dance moves, and most of them basically just humped the floor.
Okay let's be honest...these girls knew they didn't have a chance and came in there for the attention and to be on the show. If you're 50 pounds overweight, obviously you KNOW you're not going to make it. Some people like any kind of attention, good or bad. But in order to make ANY cheerleading squad you have to have a healthy and toned physique.
I'm not even a Cowboys fan, but I already know this Audition is a circus and I'm sure at times it's hard to take it seriously. You can tell some of these people haven't danced in years, then you get people of all ages trying out. 😂
A lot of these girls can't freestyle... Chubby or slim/skinny. Half of them have love sessions on the floor the others do a marching parade on the spot while looking at others for ideas. Most look like they are there for the camera time and a quarter look like they think they get in because they fit the criteria of smiling and being fit. I just want to cry. Glad I got out of the dance industry
i remember when Jenelle tried out. they didnt think she was attractive enuff in the face, and too skinny in the body. she has a face you either love or dislike....there was something about her i liked right from the get go. her face fits her. not a classic beauty, but it works for her BIG time!
Jinelle has now been a DCC for over 4 years . She's my favorite! She's got the whole package ..she's got a great can do attitude, she seems to get along with everyone...
When Kelli saw Jinelle on the big screen in the stadium, she realized what “sparkle” Jinelle had. She was surprised that Jinelle was that attractive on the screen. One instance where the big screen helped someone make the team.
BTW last year Jinelle was asked to help someone who was a little overweight. Actually 12 pounds over her weight when she first checked in. She said she would be glad to help. But the Training Camp Candidate refused her help. She is one of my favorites too. Does anyone know if Jinelle has gone back to Australia?
