Hello from Omaha. Looking forward to doing this trail maybe next year. We like camping at the Rafter J Bar Ranch just south of Hill City. Just did the first day of RAGBRAI last week, the weather was great. Thanks for sharing.
Great video…We did the trail a month ago for the 1st time…Started in Edgemont…rode to Hill City..woke up and biked to Deadwood..next day we went back to Hill City and our final day back to our truck in Edgemont…Nice trail..Thanks for posting your trip
Fantastic!!! The only things missing are the smell of the Buffalo chips and the squeaks of the prairie dogs. Thanks again for the skill and time it takes to inform others and help us re-live the adventure.
Researching a trip out cycling some rail trails in SD and Montana area. Funny enough, switched up from week end kayaking paddles , many from near home and Big Mc Coy island and saw you also cycled out west! How long did it take you from Buffalo to trail head area, drive pretty much straight through or sample other trails along the way?
We stayed at hotels. Camp sites are not easily accessible from the trail, and we had a large group with e-bikes that needed regular charging. Hotels are right on trail, but not cheap.
So I’m always curious if you mention a place where it is in the world I wondered if those locations were all in South Dakota And which Buffalo you came from I think they exist in a lot of different states it just helps to get a sense of scale of your endeavor and future planning

This was great
Beautiful! This one is on my “someday” list. Really appreciate the high production values. Nice work.
Looking for advice for an upcoming trip. The trail splits leaving Deadwood. Which way is better & why? Can't seem to find any info on this. Cheers!

Thanks for a great video. Did you stay in hotels along the trail or camp?

Good point! Everything was in South Dakota, except "our" Buffalo, which is in NY.
