As of when we posted this video, our adaptive cruise control still works after installing 285/70/17 sized tires on our sprinter van.
After reading through forums, we found that the Nitto Ridge Grappler tires were the ONLY tire to be that size and still work, otherwise people will go with 275/70/17.

Wheels not rims.
The wheel is the metal unit that attaches the wheel hub to an automobile via an axle, while rims are the outermost part of the wheel assembly. Perhaps think of it this way: “rim” means “edge,” and rims are located on the edges of your wheels.

I have a 22 170 ext 4x4 same color and same wheels in bronze I love them! I got van compass 4.3 system and the van drives like a caddy!

I plan on going with the exact setup you guys did! Great video!! Very informative. Have you seen any deactivation of the ACC and LDA lately? AT tires traditionally run louder with road noise especially on highways. How have they been doing for you both? Thanks for making this video!
Awesome! Yeah we love this combo of wheels and tires. We have roughly put about 5000 miles on the van since running this combo and haven’t had any issues. We haven’t done any suspension work yet and the van seems to be a much more comfortable ride. We haven’t really noticed any road noise with the Nitto AT tires. Hope this helps.
That’s great to hear! I have a Van Compass 4.3 with mini leaf and sumo springs back and front, and absolutely love it!!! I somehow got a 1.5 inch rise (lift) from the stock suspension setup even though I didn’t put a lift kit on it. Installed at Owl and they set these up a lot here in Phoenix. I love the fact that they can be adjusted to any terrain. Mostly highway driving for me, and drives like true German luxury when you need it!

Hey! Great vid, thank you. Have you found any issues with your adaptive cruise or collision detection system with 33" tires.
We have not, everything seems to be working just fine. However we did research these tires on forums and I know most 33" will still affect those!
What was the offset on the rims? Any issues opening the side door?
30mm and No issues opening the door!
