Great question! Adobe Illustrator is perfect for creating high-resolution vector images, which are scalable and ideal for print use, as they don’t lose quality at any size or DPI. Firefly, on the other hand, primarily focuses on generative AI and raster images, so it might not be the best choice for vector/high res work directly. However, you can always use it to generate raster images and then vectorise them in Illustrator if needed. It really depends on your workflow and the specific type of project you’re working on. You could also always consider external websites/apps that can vectorise the image for you (eg. Vectr, Inkscape, Figma, etc.). I'm happy to help if you need any more details.
@@a-know-be_illustrator Its fine, I know all that. Just be nice if there was an export function with firefly to save as JPEG, Transparent PNGs, Vector (eps and svgs) and also set the size and DPI for bitmap images. ie 4000 x 4000 px at 300DPI, and even the colour format at output. RGB or CMYK. Just must be mainly aimed at the average users and mass market for creating small bitmap image for use on social and 72 DPI RGB screen images.
@@Drum2 Totally hear you. At the moment, Firefly does seem more geared toward creating quick images for digital use (like social media), with its focus on 72DPI and RGB. Unfortunately, there’s no built-in export for JPEG, Transparent PNG, vector formats, or the ability to set DPI and colour modes (CMYK/RGB) directly in Firefly. It would definitely be a game-changer for professional designers if those options were added, especially for print work. Hopefully, Adobe takes note and brings these features in future updates to cater to both casual users and professionals.

very nice
Does it create images at a high res and DPI for print use, and can it create vector images? Otherwise not much use for most designers.

Which mouse do you use for editing?
Hi there, thank you for commenting. I use is the Logitech M350S Pebble 2 Wireless Mouse, however, any mouse should work just fine 🙃.
🙏 thanks
This is good…
