Bless you our, "big sister" for this! Been hunting for something like this for ages, it's so frustrating when you have the perfect old timey hair and makeup together, or the prettiest dress.... and then attempts at pictures make you look like Uncle Fester 🤣🤣🤣
1. Appearance (highlighting the eyes and lips) 2. Dimensions (what will you do with your hands?(making a triangle)Where are you facing? turning your face a little bit, tilting your head a little bit, smile + laugh a little) 3. Atmosphere (light should shine on your face, setting the camera higher than average, setting the camera lower will elongate your legs)
You looks so happy since you had your son! I mean, you looked happy before too, it just that now it's obvious that the void you had in your heart hoping for a child is filled. I'm so happy for you and your husband!
Thanks lovely! 💛 I definitely have to make the videos short lately because my baby doesn’t sleep in his swing for long lol! But I’m glad that it is appreciated 🥰
You are so right about laughing a little for the best smile in photos. My mom says she is smiling when photo taking, but she ends up looking uncomfortable & awkward(sorry mom!), but when I get her to laugh… she looks wonderful! Her smile is beautiful & beaming! So I learned that through trial & error with her. 😅
Loved the video Cynthia. Body language wise also tilting your head is meant to be more pleasing to babies. I've heard this from certain body language experts. They find jt more nurturing somehow. Maybe more motherly feminine energy. Great video. And you are really photogenic to me !
Great points! I especially like your suggestion to laugh when taking selfies. I too have noticed this can really help create a smile that is authentic rather than forced.
I love all of these tips! I am not photogenic whatsoever but I love taking pictures and cherishing them. Especially since my son will be born this year! I want to capture all of the moments. 😊
Cynthia I genuinely think it’s impossible for you to not look gorgeous in a picture or video :). You just have this effortless almost beauty where it seems like you’re naturally amazingly looking without much effort. I do think it’s telling though that society tells women they have to be totally or mostly naked to be considered attracted. At the same time we’re told there’s supposedly a massive anti woman conspiracy going on and we need to “stop treating women like objects”. Well which is it? Are women only beautiful when naked or are they more than their bodies? Beauty is so much more than your physical shape or how you look a certain way or from a particular angle. How you look comes through your personality your demeanor your outlook on life. If you’re constantly bitter as angry that’ll be apparent. I hope women understand that they can be incredibly alluring but in appropriate ways. You can dress modestly but very fashionably carry yourself with grace and class and look much more amazing than any IG “model” who wears nothing but a thong Stop catering to the worlds absurd standards for beauty and do what you know is right. Honor yourself honor the Lord honor others by presenting the best not most sexual version of you
Go you, making this video around being a busy mom. As a mom of a baby having a hard time finding a moment to even watch one, it's amazing you managed to make one! I love how your eyes kept darting to him- shows the love.
I can't believe you don't consider yourself photogenic! To be honest, I wasn't sure you'd be the best person to give advice on how to take good pictures because you are one of the most beautiful women I've ever seen. But you gave lots of great advice as always. ♥️
Since you read all of the comments, can I post a video request? I have posted this on other channels but no one has made a video. Can you please make a video on how women can dress and feel feminine when they go through prolonged chronic sickness? If you were recovering from surgery or sickness that lasts a couple of weeks to months?

Model Christie Brinkley has always said you should always laugh a little when taking photos, it's more natural. And you should face the light.

I would wear matching sweatpants/comfy sets. This is how I dressed immidiately postpartum. I’m sorry you’re going through a hard time 💛
You’re trying to tell me former Miss World Canada is not photogenic?
