Learning this tune now. You play the way I’m learning it. You sound beautiful. Watching your expressions show the power of this tune. And why so many are attracted to it.
@@DanFelsMusic I’ve been playing since 1964 at age 6. I’m not a picker but I think I got it. Lots of repetition is needed for me. I found a three finger method using my middle finger for E and B strings. Feel more stable that way.
@@skeeterman7144 Oh, that’s longer than me! I meant good luck with playing THIS song. I’m not much of a guitar player unless I’m singing along with it, anyway
@@DanFelsMusic you are a very good player. So few who attempt guitar stick with it. Having musical ability helps. I had lessons in grade school and that’s it. Been in bands all my life. Never dreamed I’d be gigging at 65
Thanks! No, I just play it from the chords in the Lightfoot song book I’ve had since the 70’s. My fingerpicking is just made up to try to sound as much like GL’s as I can make it
Yes! True! I got that Martin D-18 that week and was excited to play that one. Too fast and some fingerpicking notes I normally do are missing. I need to re-do this one haha
Very beautiful! You sound a lot like Gord! Amazing voice! Thank you for sharing!
Thank you!
Give it to this chap! He has done such a wonderful cover of a great song. I just keep coming back to hear this!
You are too kind! Haha Thanks so much!

George Ristow Thank you!
Very nice....great voice
Thank you so much!!
Nicely done1
Phenomenal voice my friend!
I appreciate that! Thank you!
Wonderful!
I closed my eyes and listened trying to see if could pick something out that told me you weren't actually Gordon singing.
Thank you!
Tremendous and brilliant
Tara Rose Thank you!

@@skeeterman7144 That’s good! I always use shortcuts when I can. I notice even the big stars vary what they do sometimes on their own songs

By the way, do you have tabs? I love your arrangement.

You might try Ultimate Guitar Tabs. The other YT site that’s really good is Jerry’s Guitar Bar
@@DanFelsMusic Will do, thanks for the advice
Very good rendition of Gordon’s opus…
Thank you!!
Very very nice! (A little fast) but NICE!
Dirk Sauvey You’re right! It is a bit fast. I need to get in the right groove and do this one again!
A little too fast but a great cover!
