GM went from building the best V8 engines to building time bombs that self destruct after 200,000 miles. Ram engines do the same thing as well.

Is this where the V-8 lifter fiasco is made for Cadillac, Tahoe, Yukon and others ?

GM stop over engineering, give us a no nonsense pick up that doesn’t cost so much!
I know you can do it, give us what we want!

" Automation" helps to improve efficiency, precision and safety? Hmmm..... I have nothing against technology but workload and pace have not been addressed in the last 35 years. People move around wearing roller blades and rocket packs. Often times, Metal working fluids are toxic poisonous and flammable. There is no external venting of exhaust air from machining...it is filtered back into the workplace. I suggest the Unifor Local 199 members talk to their 199 Education Chairperson and sign up for ," Paid Educational Leave" and learn what Monetarism Capitalism is all about and the history of Unions, Associations and Federations.
In a Monetarist Capitalist System...you must fight for the right to live.

Surprised to not see the haters here saying what a POS it is or how lazy the workers are. People that have NOT worked on an assembly have NO say.

its funny to watch these guy put together the motors. they are all junk, but they make more money than me and i have to fix their mistakes. and i know more about how an engine actually works than the clown assembling them. smh.

Automation saves a lot of human labor but is not very cost effective at the moment.
