In the 2009 version she's raised on a minuscule platform a good 15 ft with only a small vertical pole to hold onto. She also STILL danced on the arm of the cherry picker always used in Nutbush City Limits. Both, naturally, in heels. She was a few months shy of 70. SEVENTY.
We'll never see another artist like her, she was the definition of an icon. RIP Queen.

Yes, the song is from the "Mad Max III" movie and she also acted in it with Mel Gibson! Nice you noticed she was holding with only one hand to that bar, I thought the same when saw that! But she was brave and ready to do anything for a show.
I personally felt a great sadness when Tina passed away. She was always there, for decades…her music, dance moves, energy, that incredible voice and beautiful smile…It made you believe nothing can take her away. What a singer, what a performer, what a woman!
"What do we do with our lives? We leave only a mark. Will our story shine like a Light? Or end in the Dark?!" It seemed that these lines from the song made her tear. Well, her story will definitely shine! RIP, Tina

What a power women, what an incredible unique voice, what a sensational career, what a LIFE 🤩. RIP Tina 🙏, Queen of Rock forever in our hearts👑♥️♥️♥️.
Great to have her here on this channel, for ever ingrained with reactions to some of her wonderful songs. Her music for sure will stand the test of time. And I couldn’t think on any better reactor to react to her songs as you HAP, who really appreciates the artists and their music.
The other performance from 2009 is not less spectacular. It was the „50th Anniversary Tour“ and her last. There she was in her 70s and still had a powerful voice.
As you already read in the comments, this song was from the movie Mad Max „Thunderdome“. It's not the only film music she sang. Certainly you know another song from her to a famous film too: James Bond - Goldeneye“ 👁️.
You mentioned the drums, which I love so much, and you’re absolutely right, they are connected to the lyrics and emphasise the thunderdome feeling. In the official version the drums come even more into their own. I do like the sax interlude as well 🎷.
Thank you for this fantastic reaction to this outstanding lady🥰🙋🏻‍♀️.

From the cotton fields of Tennessee to a very abusive childhood where her mother left when she was 11, leaving the children, to a very abusive marriage to Ike, which was when her career started. She finally ran from Ike with nothing more than a few cents in her pocket. Finally with freedom and help from a few friends (Bowie/Jagger and Rod Stewart) she came into her own. 12 Grammy's later! Just weeks after her marriage to her 2nd husband....after about 35 yrs single... (I believe it was early/mid 2010's?) she moved to Switzerland and was diagnosed with kidney failure. Her new husband donated a kidney. That same decade she had a stroke and intestinal cancer. So many other things. The Queen lived a life!
