I struggled with acne my entire life and I definitely feel you. My acne is light but my face never is free of a spot or redness. Thank you for tips, I will pick up the effaclar. Despite the struggles, you made the right decision to come off the pill. Have a great day.
I was only on it for a few years. I really enjoy natural planning. I feel very in tune with my body. My hormonal breakouts aren't super bad, but I do get them. I saw Gothamista talk about how spearmint tea helps with the hormones that causes that acne. So I gave it a shot. Totally works. It really helped me. I even went on a break from the tea (to see if it was really doing anything) and that hormonal acne came right back. I drink a cup almost everyday. Skipping a day here and there doesn't seem to matter.
I just got my IUD out and I'm waiting to see how my body reacts. I know Maca powder is also helps in balancing hormones if you want to give tea a break. I mixed it in my juices and smoothies before I got my IUD out and I'm waiting to see how it works now that my IUD out.
Thank you so much for this video.. I am experiencing the same acne problem since I stopped the contraceptive injections.. and I even gained 6 pounds.. so frustrating.. I use most of the ingredients that you mentioned.. and my acne also reacts well on benzoyl peroxide.. I use the short contact method.. thanks again for the video ❤❤❤
Dear Ksenija, please be careful with Vitamin A if you guys are trying to get pregnant. Just in case. Thanks for the wonderful video, much love from Germany
Thank you for sharing. I stopped taking Yasmin and have hormonal cystic acne on my chin and cheeks which has left scars and I’m battling a new batch each month. I also gained 1stone in 8 weeks. If anyone has any advice on the weight gain I would love to hear - I haven’t changed my diet or activities
