Beware of this institute. It is full of toxic hierarchy and spoonfeeding in the name of discipline though the college is extremely unorganized and indecisive especially in administration work and attendance list and stipend. Even many school functions are way better, more cultural and professional than this college's annual fest. Some higher authorities are real bullies and in name of discipline they love screwing up with mental health of students, interns and residents by imposing unnecessary extra rules for show. Campus is way cheaper for a private college with monkeys loitering even inside hospital and around campus often poising as threat for bypassers and girls hostel is way too restrictive with few rude wardens. This campus is legit conservative and misogynistic. The way they are trying to show their strictness and puritanism it's surprise how this college has not even entered NIRF ranking of 95 to 100.
SIMS is one of the worst private colleges. Management is spineless and faculty is utterly incompetent, esp. in departments like OBG. I personally know of a case where a pregnant woman died because no consultants, senior residents and senior PGs were there to supervise the case. And when the patient died, they had the nerve to blame first year PGs, who have been there for less than 6 months for the fiasco. By the way, name of the senior resident is Mandvi Tarun. And what more can you expect when the SR in question has studied MBBS from Nepal (because she couldn't get a seat in India) and PG from Saraswathi itself. Shame on these people.
