    Nice one chief, ah crikey, crayfish nightmares, have similar on my syndicate lakes, they are a challenge to be sure, very adaptable critters and even though they do my head in, I sort of admire the tenacity of them. Great upload, thanks for taking the time to share it with us!

    I fished a crayfish infested water once (before some scroats nicked all the fish) and a carp on a crayfish diet didn't half fight. The battles where Savage. I miss that lake 😢😢

    have they cut the branches above i could only just cast last trip with my 10ft rods ? i did ask for them to be cut when they done the work party, and i also had ronnie and reggie trying to pull my rod pod in in that swim last trip come right out of the water and grabbed it

    That weeds ridiculous shaun needs a good raking m8 I used to always carry one and rake a good 20/30ft in my swim it saves losing fish

      Can’t beat the weed, just have to live with it!

  • @dogsbollox2
    @dogsbollox2 11 месяцев назад +1

    I just started carp fishing again after a 36 yr break, one thing I dont understand is, why put 3 rods on roughly the same spot, wouldnt various spots be better?

    • @TheFishingBloggers
      @TheFishingBloggers  11 месяцев назад

      It all depends on the venue and the situation. The swim I was fishing didn’t really have multiple spots, it’s very weedy. I was fishing a silt gulley running along the back of a thick weed-bed, this appeared to be the only decent area I could present rigs on. So as I only had limited time I didn’t want to thrash the swim to a foam finding loads of spots, so put all three along the same silt spot and put some bait over the top. My tactics change depending on the situation I’m faced with, if you watch other videos you will see I use different approaches for different circumstances. Hope this helps
