With no context, no background, there's just Meghan Markle. And it honestly appears scripted and rehearsed. I'll give you that there's no stage anxiety whatsoever. She's at home in front of the camera, centre stage. If she had more of what it takes... authenticity? Naturalness? Less contrivance? Then yes, she could make a passable news anchor or reporter. But she has the confidence of a pre-teen with very little thoughtfulness. And it's annoying. It just is for some of us.
I watched part of the film Antisocial, and it was teeth-clenchingly difficult to sit through some of it. She enjoyed acting more than the audience enjoyed watching it.
Her father really should not have let her hang around backstage while growing up. This woman seems to be the manifestation of a child who spent her time mimicking what she observed. That's why people don't like her - she's merely a performance.

Yes, the good-natured actress at play. Love her! I was at a taping of an interview with a very famous singer, whose mother got up as quietly as possible to go tot he restroom... The director yelled, CUT. Followed with, Who made that noise? The famous singer gave the director a look that clearly read: "Drop it, unless you want to go through me to yell at my elderly mother". LOL. So, the Mom turned to me and whispered to me, "Did I cause that?" And, I lied and said, "No" - it was a cable that got moved accidentally on the other side of the room. She let out a sigh of relief. lol. And, after a long day of interviews and various star-related work, these are human beings who get tired, who have bad days, who are human. Whenever someone says something negative about another person, I remind myself that perhaps that person wasn't feeling well, they were having a bad day, or maybe they were misread.

This happens to me so I totally feel for her and I can see these people doing this, I feel really bad for her. I’ll say something about a struggle I might have with my kid to joke about it and my sister, who does that to me, acts like I’m just saying how much I hate my kid or something and it’s ridiculous.
