I mean I have no words for this. What a great detailing,seriously.Amazing.Each and every aspect of an airport have been so well portrayed that it looks more than a real.If you wouldn't have mentioned that it was a model then everyone would've just thought that it was a short film of a real time airport which was filmed using a drone or something like that.Loved it.I surely can respect and truly admire the hard work you must have put it in and also the other guys who would've helped you out to pull off this amazing maneuver. Admiration from India.
I went here in 2017. Miniatur Wunderland. It's in Hamburg, Germany. OMG it is amazing. I'd love to go again. Loved seeing Air Berlin. That's who I flew there. To bad they went out of business.
This looks like Knufingen Airport (Miniature Wunderland - Hamburg, Germany). An Amazing Place. The airport is magnificent, but is hardly the only amazing site of the museum... If you are anywhere near Hamburg, this is a "must visit" location. It can easily take an entire day to see the entire facility. Take a personal tour (if you can) and see it all "behind the scenes"... So many nice memories of this place.
Wow, this is absolutely incredible! 🛫 The scale and detail of the world's largest miniature airport in 1/87 scale are truly breathtaking. The fact that this project took over six years to complete really speaks to the dedication and precision involved. Watching the 40 different aircraft, including Boeings and Airbuses, taxiing independently across the tarmac is just mesmerizing. 🌍✈ I'm particularly amazed by the realistic movements of the planes, from taxiing to takeoff and landing, all enhanced by original lights and sounds. With 40,000 lights, over 100 kilometers of wiring, and more than 15,000 miniature figures, the complexity is astounding. The catapult system for simulating takeoffs and landings is a genius touch! Could you share more about how the day and night simulation is achieved? Also, I’d love to know more about the special vehicle systems like the airport fire brigade and the pushback trucks. This project is a fantastic intersection of technology and creativity, capturing the bustling atmosphere of a real airport. Great job to everyone involved in bringing this miniature marvel to life!
They say there's no such thing as a perfect world, that is, until they have seen this. the propulsion system that moves the aircraft and vehicles is absolutely incredible, i don't know what motivated them to build such an incredible project, just to envision it, must have been mind bending.

ruclips.net/video/ACkmg3Y64_s/видео.html Just search for 'miniatur wunderland' - there are a gazillion films or reports for it available. I've been there and what is nice: in other places they say 'no photos please' there they have sings 'please take photos' 😉. Parts of the workshops are open and you can watch people working on the next phases of this event..
Airport seems real enough, but the Giant Godzilla size people moving around in the back ground! How'd they do that? Especially the one that got spanked by his momma for picking up one of the fuel trucks!
At the nighttime operation if they could figure out a way to move those people around inside and out, this could most certainly be mistaken as real actual life at first glance. Possibly a real struggle to realize it isn't real at all. So beautifully spectacular.
Do you know my latest airport video? Please visit www.pilentum.org/biggest-model-airport-of-the-world-miniature-airplane-and-aircraft-model-aviation-in-ho-scale
I can see this is an older video, I just found this channel recently. I'm not sure if most people understand or know HOW much detail and HOW tedious this build was. There is SOOOOO much detail, some a little crazy. Like the car show in the airport parking lot or the tent that was pitched, never the less it is amazing detail and mechanics. Everything from the cab lights coming on in the support trucks, the day to night lighting that gradually bright as the time setting changes, the interior plane lights, runway tracking, turnsignals on the vehicles as they approch, advertisement boards that move, everything is in place. Absolutley amazing!!!! Just one small section of this to build would take thousands of hours, factoring in the mechanical operation (just moving the plane and vehicles in sequence), detail of just one plane and all of the smaller support vehicles and settings.
I'm an electronic engineer and N scale model train kind. Also R/C model aircraft. How are you guys doing it all? I get remote control and special effects. All the vehicles? No tracks. It's WAY cool!!
The Cars and Planes follow a Steel Wire hidden "underground". The Front Wheels are steered by a Magnet. For Cars, this System is commercially available as "Faller Car System" in Scale H0 and N. The Planes are completely DIY. On the Taxiways, they operate just like Cars, and are loaded onto a Sled on the Runway. They are held by two Metal Poles, that can be extrnded individually, to create a realistic Illusion of Takeoff and Landing.
@@Genius_at_Work That's pretty cool. Thanks for the info. Underneath track and wire technology has been around for a long time. Wires embedded in the floor allowed the mobile robots at the Naval Hospital my daughter was born in to navigate themselves all over that hospital. Magnets also have a heavy use, as well. It's all pretty amazing!!
Just subscribed. Saw this RUclips channel quite by chance. Awesome realism. Never seen anything like it before. Pity I didn't have something like this as a kid, would never go.outside lol. 😊🇨🇦🍁👍 Thanks for showing us. A lot of time and effort must have gone into it. Made my day.
To all those lucky enough to have visited this warehouse of wonders, when you go again, there's no need to write "if" it's too good not to go again and again if you can... When you go again, give yourself the added joy of booking a behind the scenes tour. Not only do you have the chance to pilot a cruise ship down the Elbe, you can see how it all works: from the automatic docking of the vehicles at their charging stations through the nude sunbathers to how the airport works. All of which is simply joyful, especially what happens to a plane between take off and landing back there again.
I had the opportunity to fuel the Antanov 126 & still operative 124, in the United States. Seen the loads they can carry and the large amount of fuel required (approximately 80,000, U.S. gallons) and their lumbering , slow take offs.

I was on that KLM flight and I can assure you flying at high speed through a huge curtain is no joke. Next time I'll bring a helmet.
It's amazing enough that they got all this detail and properly to scale, but with all this lighting and action, it's absolutely fabulous!!
To me this miniature model airport in Germany is the best in the world. It has kinda real life like activity of an Airport ! I give it 100%.
The detail in this is just amazing. What a labor of love this had to be.
An unbelievable aggregate of technology and art that provides an essentially accurate portrayal of activities at a major airport.
