Josh Liendo Just had a MONSTER Olympic Trials

Josh Liendo just had some MASSIVE swims at the 2024 Canadian Olympic trials
During the course of the meet Liendo was a Canadian record breaking MACHINE, he broke his own Canadian record in the 50 free in a 21.48, tied his own record in the 100 free with a 47.55 and broke his own canadian record in the 100 fly TWICE by one one hundredth in prelims and then again in finals with a 50.06

I think that’s a solid line. I really WANT it to take a 49 to medal but I think that requires too many people to have a perfect or near perfect race at the same time.

No way it will take a WR. I'm a Dressel believer and I think he will 49.7 to win. Simply nobody can touch that.
49.45 is so insanely fast.

It’s gonna be close as hell but I think Caeleb Dressel and Josh Liendo are the most likely going sub 50… I think the top 3 will include Dressel, Liendo, and Ponti. We really can’t say until Dressel swims at trials to see but I think with that back half speed he’s been working on he could go sub 50 at trials or Paris idk though
