The ones that have bad mouthed this cover really don't understand Nirvana. Thats my guess. This is Nirvana right here. They were the best at sounding the worst. I love this noise. And by sounding the worst, I mean that they had their own sound and it was fucking awesome. This was sloppy as sloppy can be and yet so solid at the same time.

It was probably a bootleg, it wasn't released on anything official at least that I know of

I love this version of the song. Way better than Kiss. An yeah I know Kurt's making fun of it.
ITIsFunnyDamnIT No, he's not making fun of it. He was a big KISS fan, thanks to King Buzzo of Melvins. Nirvana often did quirky covers of songs from bands they liked. And if you think about it, the lyrics for "Do You Love Me?" fit perfectly into grunge music since it was about asking someone if it was the fame or the person they actually liked.
They actually were making fun of it. They grew up listening to them but ended up hating KISS because they were corporate rock, just like Guns and Roses.
