- Back to the Forbay for some stripers and bass with Pia/PXfishing. Hit the jackpot and found some monster sized redear sunfish(shellcrackers). Ran out of worms but landed 18 giants. This is Pia/PXFishing day with me • -O'neil Forebay- "BIG...

I'm 68 years old, I have been fishing since I was 8, never seen redear that big, awesome day fishing.
Great video. The way you hold them like a bass that's how you know them shellcrackers are trophies. We need more pia & Damian content. GREAT DUO 💪😎
This is one the funnest fishing videos I’ve ever watched
What a day! That's a whole lot. Closer to the 50 lb then 30. Great job Damian! 🤙
No shellcrackers here in Washington but if there were and I could catch them that size, I would never fish for bass lol!
Ive caught my pb crappie from lake washington in the spring (mid may) i thought it was a bass!
Huge redear gills, that is a awesome day of fishing , I get a few that size from Aquaduct...only in spring or late winter. Best fishing there is at this size and I use 4lb. Test sunline.
That’s insane man. Absolute Units!
Dang Damian! Those are some toads! Nice job! 😯🤙🏽
When it so fire 🔥 you gotta call game warden and report on Dthao 😂
Some big Talapia you got there. Hmong New Year coming soon
Thanks for the shout out
I live in Los Banos and would love to see you around one day! youre best fisherman in the CV hands down!
Dang big'ol redears! Imagine during the spawn🤯
Nice fish!
Love you guys
Big FISH BRO!!
DT ..... spend $6 for 350 yards of Trout Magnet SOS line. I tried it for the first time back in August. They are fanatic Trout guys fishing the White River in Arkansas. Only make #2 #4 #6 pound test. Caught a 14-16 pound Striper on #6 test the first week. Casts so well i only fish it in open water. Knot strength & abrasion resistance are fine :)
I wish they would stock the redear sunfish in Wisconsin... ! !
Looks like it would be a blast on a fly rod!
They were me out with my 4wt
Very nice Shellctakers, what area was it again you said in your intro. I definitely want to come fish that area. Those Shellctakers make Florida Shellctakers look small.
Dang, that some biggin. Wish we have that size in mn.
Those are so fun to catch and taste great. Awesome job.
The pros fishing together!!🔥🔥
Imagine catching them on a ultralight BFS set up 🔥🔥🔥🔥👍👍👍👍👍
There it is 😆
Wow! I've been fishing on that lake over 20 years plus...I didn't even know there's blue gills in there. Nice catch!
Me too. Ive always gone there for stripers.
They are just really hard to find. But when you do find them, they are all big
How are you still there at night and they didn’t kick you out? They close the. Lake down 15 min before dark? Did you find a spot where they could not see you ?
Damn them big bluegills has been a dream of mine to catch on ultralight setup. Ever try fishing them using jigs?
Didn't know that that lake has redear(shell cracker)
ha i know exactly where u at lol. love camping and fishing there. family dont like it cause bunch of rattle snakes all over the place. last year was last time i went, there was 3 little ones and the adult slithering around the campsites. sister ran over one there too.
Man, I’m not a fan of snakes lol. Campgrounds are nice though
Are used to target them out there back in the day with my Kik boat
What kind of hooks
Where are they fishing at.
How deep is the water you catch those redears and is there structure or grass or weed?
It’s grass. I’m fishing a deeper pocket that’s probably 7-8ft
Is this at the small lake or los Banos lake?
That’s insane!!! I’ve heard of tiddy bream but those are truly monsters.
Wow, i never see big mama bluegill, nice catch, it's om 152 hwy? Thanks
Yes 152
What kayak do you have?
Why keep all of them?
What kind of glide? SG? If you don't mind me asking...
It’s a savage gear
Mr. Damian . . . Never heard of or ever seen a "Redear" (Shellcracker). Had I accidentally caught one of those fish, I would have thought I caught the "mother" of all Bluegills 🤣. Loved how you didn't want to immediately put your fish in the cooler, proceeded to rebait your hook, cast out, and proceeded to catch another until you're netting another one with two still in the net 😂. The fun was catching them, the work began when cleaning all those Redears and Striper, and the reward was eating your catch. I mentioned this in one of your "soaking bait" vids, but would love to see a "clean and cook" vid. Hope your catch ate well for your family and freinds and another enjoyed video.
I don’t eat fish but man they were a pain to clean. I put in all that work cleaning them so had to eat a few. They were really good. A lot of meat for a panfish lol
Man where yall at
Nice! What lb line you use?
6 lb. Floro just finished vid
One of my favorite fish to target. It peels drag on light spinning setup.
They fight harder than the bass. I man handled the bass back in with the spinning rod but these redears just don’t give up lol
Nice fish! Did you catch these in october?
DUDE …. That was KRAZY 👊👍🎣🐳🐳🐳🐳🐳🐳🐳. your Bro was like 😢🤬🤬 musta been the HOOK. LoL. LoL !! BTW what were the hooks you were using ??
I was just using size 2-4 mosquito hooks
🔥 those guys pull hard
🎉
bruh those are some GIANTS REDEARS....
Save some for all of us! lmao
Wow
What lake is that?
San Luis o’niel forbay

This lake, usually everyone fish stripers only that’s why sunfish and other fish can get really big.
@@TimVang0916 Yup
Can i join you
All Hmong look alike lol short and stout
Those are some hard fighting bullgills.
What's your setup for those?
6’10 phoenix maxim paired with a daiwa tatula 2000. 6lb Pline tactical, size 2-4 masquito hook with a red worm
My home lake is Havasu and we have the world record redear here. If you're ever out this way hit me up.
I agree with you. Havasu has some giants.
I’ve always seen pictures of them from Havasu or someone catches a monster redear during a tournament up there. Pretty insane
Some of the tastiest fish I ever had
where is ai bro
Why you need so much fish this why the salmon almost gone
For once the Forebay was slick calm
