Yes also glad you said your height, I’m 6’3, 200lbs and I kept looking at scooter reviews and everyone seems to be 5’10 and 150 pounds. Which for most scooters is a great height and weight. When I ride bird or other rideshare brands, the scooters always have a hard time getting me up a hill. I love owning this scooter. Coming from a mi m365. This is a beast. I only weigh a buck twenty and it hauls ass. I'd recommend switching out the knobby tires for street tires unless you primarily off-road. The only problem I have encountered is with the really low quality of screws that come stock. How would you rate this for heavier riders? Thinking about something to ride around at racetracks as a spectator, as I can't toss a motorbike in my trunk like others do with their trucks.
I noticed that on the homepage of the website, there is a display photo which states that the display is weatherproof. The photo shown on the main homepage when I selected the D plus model shows rain in the background. So my question is, is the scooter water resistant to the point where if I get caught in the rain, will my scooter still function?
I would say it's water repellent, not totally resistant. Been riding in pretty heavy rain without any problems, the most problematic spot is where the deck connects to the fork. Remove the plastic plate held by 4 screws, where all the wires from the stem go into the deck. I got some silicone and fill that hole tight. No water inside the deck even after heavy rain. To be extra sure, I would also place some silicone under the deck cover.

When you get the scooter because of the Chinese manufacturer do you have to retighten all the bolts when you received your scooter did you have anything falling out
Hey! Nothing was falling out. Bolts and screws have to be checked on every scooter, not only Chinese. I repositioned the controls on the handlebar, so not a big deal to double-check everything anyway.
I've got d4 d4+ and d5+. Worst things is that the break pads and small things fuck up fast and there's no replacements if you live in europe, takes hours to find a supplier and then shipping takes months and toll cost 100 times the price of the item. it sucks. the display stopped working, one didnt work from start. brake wire snapped, the d4 had a bad battery, lights stopped working on all three after just a month or so. So lots of problems and a pain in the ass. Flat tires is a daily pain so eventually you just put on airless tires. Plus: The battery on my d4+ and d5+ is great, I can go so long on a higher gear, no complaints. Tip for the manufacturer: On the D4 there was a bigger deck, then you made it much smaller, for a 6'4 guy i have one foot almost at the front tire. That one also had a bigger thing for folding, i never used it for folding but it had a hole so you could lock your scooter up with a fat chain which could not be broken, now i have to snake the chain around the neck and if someone wants parts they can rip the handle off and take off with the rest. not good.

Ikka Tallinnast jah! :) Those are filmed using a 360 cam. No issues with the police, those scooters are still in that 'grey' zone, haven't heart about any penalties. However, I never ride fast inside the city.

Great review. I weigh about 190 pounds, do you think I would be able to ride this without it losing too much power? What kind of speed do you think I would get?
Hello:) I'm between Kaabo Wolf Warrior X, Nanrobot d6+ and Dualtron (aka Minimotors) Victor Luxury. I am 85kg and i want it mainly for commuting in city, i don't really care about top speed just for reliability and safety :) If you want to suggest another option under 2.500 dollars, feel free :) Thank you! ^^
@@SwitchUpYt I used silicone, rode it a few times now in the rain with no issues. Need to do the throttle tho, thats not waterproof, I wipe the rain off of it as I go along.
I like the range and speed of this scooter a lot... for commuting to work. 15 miles each way. Would anyone recommend this for commuting? One big concern that I have is tires durability. How many miles before you have to replace these tires?
I'd say you have to replace the tires after every 1000 km / 600 miles (maybe more if you don't brake like crazy and use normal start, not power). Same story with brake pads.

zero has street tires the 6 has off road tires and way better illumination in my opinion
@@castolano both are identical..they just put stickers on them as a rebrad
the real brand is TItan in china and half price.. these rebrands charge 2x ...
@@captaindiabetes4244 they are similar, not identical.
Hi, why does the volt meter show 58.7 volts, if the scooter is 52 volts?
58.7 volts is when it’s fully charged or almost fully charged. Understand? Max voltage of a 52V system is around 58V.
Did Nanrobot clone the Zero 10x/Turbowheel Lightning? Only difference I can see is that the stem looks thicker and does it improve on the 10x?. The shocks seem stiffer than the other two. Any other differences between these 3 models?
They look pretty similar, however these are completely different scooters. Shocks are adjustable.
both buy from same factory.. titan in china.. you can buy it directly for them for 800$ only.. thank me later
how do you change the abs setting ? whats a B ?
Hey! Do to the P9: 0 is off, 1 weak, 2 is the strongest. What is B?
Comprehensive review 🛴
Thanks! I appreciate it!
Hi & thx for this review 🙂👍,I have a M365,its ok but not good enough & it's time to upgrade to this monster.will order one just holding out for black Friday just to see if its a little cheaper thx.
When you get the scooter because of the Chinese manufacturer do you have to retighten all the bolts when you received your scooter did you have anything falling out
Hey! Nothing was falling out. Bolts and screws have to be checked on every scooter, not only Chinese. I repositioned the controls on the handlebar, so not a big deal to double-check everything anyway.
mine were all loose and i had to tighten everthing
NANROBOT D6+ or the kaabo mantis pro?
D6+ all the way
I've got d4 d4+ and d5+.
That one also had a bigger thing for folding, i never used it for folding but it had a hole so you could lock your scooter up with a fat chain which could not be broken, now i have to snake the chain around the neck and if someone wants parts they can rip the handle off and take off with the rest. not good.
Someone help me choose zero x10 or nanrobot d6+?
Very similar built quality, specs
Facts me too going to buy mine this weekend
How is the customer service
Igor well well done an EXCELLENT PRESENTATION... I LIKE THIS ..
Amazing video the best 👌I can't decide which one is better to order Nanrobot d6+ ore ZERO 10X
I wonder how it’ll do in light snow here in NY.
hello guys,, im heavy person,,, 260lbs, im planning to buy this scooter,,,, need to know the difference between 52V scooter and 60v.scooter,,, thanks,,,have a great day
more volts = faster launches
Hi ...I love your videos...keep it up....I just want to ask for your help...I have a D4+ scooter...but it makes a clunking noise when I first use it..it seems to be coming from the controllers or hub motor...after about 1 mile it goes away....any idea of what it might be...thanks for your help...Adam
Thanks! Much appreciated! You gotta make a video and post it here: facebook.com/groups/nanrobot
Are you sure your brakes are properly aligned?
Killer review👍
Thanks bro 👍
You're from Tallinn? That's cool. Great camerawork by the way! I don't know how you even managed to get these shots from 10:30 onwards, etc.
Has the police given you any crap about the scooter now that the new lame traffic regulations are in effect in Estonia?
Ikka Tallinnast jah! :)
Those are filmed using a 360 cam.
No issues with the police, those scooters are still in that 'grey' zone, haven't heart about any penalties. However, I never ride fast inside the city.
You think it’ll be good for winters in nyc....it snows here
Hi, Igor, super great video👍👍, I want to know about how good it is climbing hills. I'd appreciate your answer. Thanks
I just got one and I can't find the charging ports I feel so dumb
they are under the side LED strip on the left
Nice review there mate! Im planning to buy D6+ in a few months because of this review. By the way, where did you buy your helmet? Looks good too!
Thanks! It's Spada helmet, but it looks like they are sold out. I found a copy of that: www.amazon.com/ILM-Motorcycle-Cruiser-Scooter-Midnight/dp/B0821BCMGC/ref=sr_1_125?crid=2KQTE945RQSW&dchild=1&keywords=full%2Bface%2Bhelmet%2Bblack&qid=1603352331&s=automotive&sprefix=full%2Bface%2Bhe%2Caps%2C257&sr=1-125&th=1
Hello I’ve just received my d6+ and I dont think it Is as it should be. In turbo mode it’s fine but in Eco mode it won’t go over 15mph wether in gear 1/2/3 I only get 15mph is that normal also the suspension is like a trampoline it bounces all over the place it has no damping at all any help will be much appreciate thanks
😆😆🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
take it out of eco, tighten the shocks
cool vid...what's your guess as to what the maximum rider height might be? thanks.
I would say 2.00m or 6.6'', but not 100%
@@igorlmonte cool! I'm slightly under that. Thanks for your swift reply!
@@igorlmonte perfect. thanks!
I’m thinking about getting this or the Apollo Pro, I’m having a tough time making a decision. I ordered an Apollo Explorer (my first scooter) which is coming in later today. I’d like to know how it’s serving you, and if you’re still happy with it. Love the video bro
Nah I heard bad reviews about the Apollo
Great review. I weigh about 190 pounds, do you think I would be able to ride this without it losing too much power? What kind of speed do you think I would get?
Thanks! I think it will be fine, you'd easily get 38-39 mph. I sometimes ride with a heavy backpack, I haven't noticed any difference.
@@igorlmonte Thanks man, I appreciate the quick response!
What type of suspension D6+ is using?
Hey, hydraulic shock springs, probably the best stock suspension ever
@@igorlmonte Ok bro... Which one is better Air A5 suspension or Air shock suspension? Thanks
It looks just like my Zero 10X. I've set myself the task of waterproofing it this weekend. The recent rain has been a bitch.
Rob Blackmore How did you waterproof in the end?
@@SwitchUpYt I used silicone, rode it a few times now in the rain with no issues. Need to do the throttle tho, thats not waterproof, I wipe the rain off of it as I go along.
Thank you so much, I get what I want to know, perfect video and im going to order main
Thanks man, my pleasure
Is this better than fx Mantis Pro? :) or Zero 10X?
Good question! I think all 3 are great scooters
Is there a discount code for the D6+?
you should ask Nanrobot 👍
What's the range
Gunna buy one now man thanks alot !!
Does it come with a seat?
It's an extra
I feel speed wobble on 35 mph, how to stop it?
Try tightening where the swan neck meets the stem ... mine was loose ( had movement
Where the swan neck meets the platform 4 screws!
Great review. I think ill get this one for my first over a thousand $$$ e scooters Lol
Thank you!
No uphill????
Great video. Would you suggest the d4+ or the d6+ ?
Definitely D6+

Where can I get new tires from
nanrobot.com
amazon or any online vendor. 10x3.5 is a very standard tire size. Get the street tires unless 70+% of your riding is off road.
500 - 600 miles is reasonable
