I'm not an international student so I can't talk about what that is like, but what I will say from the perspective of a home student, is that a lot of universities take advantage of international students because of how much money they can make. Many don't actually care about helping those students integrate into university and whatever city they are in, which I can imagine is scary when you're in a foreign country on your own. My partner was an international student and was lucky that he had a full scholarship for tuition, but he also spoke of universities looking at him as a cash machine.

My place was deferred to January 2023, was suppose to resume this year, but my visa came out late and I arrived a day after my dead line, I was asked to go back since the head of my program has reported on the very day. That there was nothing they could do. Due to my experience I'm kind of uncomfortable going back there, but my deposit is still with them. I’m currently studying there. I actually love the school. They offer a lot of support and opportunities for international students. As for jobs most people go into health and support work. Norwich is a student town so it’s bustling during school term and very quiet once school closes cause everyone travels for the holidays except for people who already lived there and international who have nowhere to go. It isn’t cheaper than London in terms of living. Try to get accommodation before you move it’s a bit hard finding a house.
