In case you're wondering why teachers still use zoom... Short Answer: Because they are boomers and zoom is built for boomers. Long Answer: While it is true that discord has good quality and a good reputation, teachers still use zoom is actually because zoom was built for the people who are teachers and/or people who run businesses and companies and it already had reputation in the business sector way before the pandemic even happened.
Actually, many boomers are probably retired now. Teachers and business people are probably more Gen X and Y right now. Besides that, though, I think your explanation makes sense.

I've convinced my class to switch to Discord 2 years ago,we used WhatsApp in the past, now we have everything nice and organized
