I'm so glad I found your RUclips channel recently. I will be visiting Seoul at the end of October and Busan the 2nd week of November. I have been looking forward to this trip for 4 years now. You guys have such amazing content that has helped me plan out my adventure of a life time!! Thank you both so much for sharing your life with your viewers! 감사합니다!!
Thanks so much for this nice comment Shannon! 😊 That makes us so happy that we could share a bit of information to help with your trip! Wow 4 years in the making and you are finally coming over here eh? You must be so excited! By the way they are thinking of dropping the pre-flight Covid test to come here and they will announce it within a couple of weeks (I think post-arrival test will still be required though) so keep an eye out for that. Hope you have an amazing trip to Korea! It's going to be a blast! 😁
Love watching all of your videos! Super high quality and informative. I was wondering if you guys could do a video along the lines of "what we would do differently" for your bike tours around Korea. Planning on doing the trip next spring and would love some extra insight! Cheers.
Hey Janet thank you so much! 😊 We didn't even think of this but this is a great idea! I wrote it down and we will make it in October hopefully! Spring is the perfect time for cycling! But even if you can't see them there are so many landscapes and things to see!
You have totally rekindled my love for Korea. It's been 22 years since I left. I didn't know it at the time, but the year I lived there would be the best of my life.
Ah I'm so happy to hear that David! Thanks for letting us know! It sounds like you should try and make a plan to come back here! You will be so shocked by some of the changes. It's definitely a lot less "wild" now (can't even imagine 22 years ago), and there are a lot more rules, but the people have started to become a lot more free and they are expressing their individuality a lot more these days (especially in Mapo-gu near Hongdae where we live).
Really enjoying your videos! My wife and I visited Busan and Jeju last October. We also took the KTX bullet train from Seoul to Busan and really enjoyed it. We're headed back to Seoul in January for 3 weeks as my wife needs a new crown on her tooth and I need couple fillings as well. So we're going to make mini-vacation out of it. I'm hoping to try some skiing since we'll be visiting in the winter. We're complete ski beginners but always wanted to learn.
Thanks a lot crabandsteak! 😊 The KTX is a super convenient way to travel eh! Wish we could ride it more! Good luck with the dentist work in Seoul, and if you are complete beginners definitely consider checking out Jisan Forest Resort or Bears Town as they are both pretty close and have enough to learn. However if you want a really fun trip consider checking out Yongpyong if you haven't been! It has the most beginner terrain and some fun things to do in the village too!
@@lostthenfound Thanks for the ski park recommendations! We will definitely visit one if not all of 3 of the ski parks you mentioned. I finalized and booked our roundtrip plane tickets from US to Seoul last night! But I had to book for February instead of January because the direct award flights for January sold out while I hesitated. But that might end up working to our advantage if Korea gets rid of covid testing after arrival. I would love to add short 3 days ski trip to Japan from Korea if possible and not have to deal with PCR testing after reentry back into Korea.
Your videos are so informative and helping me a ton in planning my upcoming trip to SKorea. I am wondering why you havent made Busan travel guide since you have been to Busan. Or am I missing the link????
@khushbumerchant8550 thank you so much! Glad to hear that! The Seoul travel guide took me about 1-2 months to film, so I will need about 2-3 weeks in Busan to be able to film a similar, shorter guide there. Should be able to make one in the next year!

Thanks a lot for the sub count props too! Learning little by little every day (it used to be so embarassing to talk to a camera in public haha), but it's been a great ride and we still have a lot to learn and grow!

It's so awesome to go there from time to time eh! Naksamsae is good for sure! You can get it in Seoul too, but it's kind of like the flavour of Dalkgalbi but with different meat and protein! Toyoko Inn is amazing too eh! Definitely an amazing deal for what you get!
