- I made it to Round 2 of the RUclips March Madness tournament! This time I'm up against @HitmanRips. We had a limit of $300 for a single box this round. I chose a $200 box of 2014 Donruss hobby, trying to pull a sweet Zach LaVine or Joel Embiid rookie.
Whichever one of us has the better box moves on to The Big Dance. The loser goes home. Watch both videos, and let us know which box you thought was better in the comments!

Hitman's box was NOT worth the money, unfortunately. Unlucky for him with the player auto and a couple of medium rookies.
I don't know how much they are over there, but I would have chosen "Court Kings Hobby" instead for his one smaller 6 a pack effort. That's where I got a #25 LeBron and a Sapphire #25 Zac Levine. Your pick was a smart one with the higher luck for older rookies/good vets.
Other thoughts:
- Glen Rice - Lucky Jersey # for his card number. :-)
- Don't know why, but Rick Fox auto sticker looks upside-down haha. Thank goodness for the 17 number!
- Gasol - If the battle was now that basketball vs head size ratio... head won!
l love the design on every Donruss, I remember 14-15 Hobby being the first one I ordered from US to ship to Croatia. Memories, memories....

So Sage, I thought you would get a kick out of this. I was going through old cards that I have in a box and just sitting there I found an on card Auto of Charles Oakley. It is in Great shape!!! I didn't have it in a penny sleeve or top loader. I didn't even know I had it until today.

Man, I bet that Wiggins would have been a huge hit back in the day! Not the best box overall, but you definitely got enough to beat Hitman and make it to the Championship!
That Wiggins would have been a bigger hit even last year. This year…not so much. 😉

Actually, this is a Fantastic Rip! I presume that certain issues and lines simply have a better design and balance all around. This one was GREAT. Even the Basics look great and they didnt trash you with Anons. Maybe its all about those "nerds" that create all of this stuff...and even the basic wrap can be DYNAMITE if the office allows it...
Great rip. All boxes should live up to this standard! Atleast!

I opened so much so this stuff when it was $40 a box. Pulled a Wiggins auto but that did not age well.

I think your auto was better, and you had better #'d cards with the Larry Legend. I don't think Davion Mitchell and Herbert Jones is good enough for the win. I would have rather had your box over Hitmans.

They’re risky, but not as risky as some. I open them because it’s Zach’s rookie year, and you can pull some really cool autos.

Hitman somehow won. He was saying you had to have a dusty box for him to win and that’s exactly what happened. He got that trey Murphy and they card was better than this box unfortunately.
