Qibla is a prerequisite to prayer 🤲 (like ablution). It must be determined before beginning your salat or contact prayer. Qibla refers to the direction of prayer (toward Mecca). It is direction you face meaning: "orientate yourself" when you pray the five daily contact prayers. 1) Dawn, 2) Noon, 3) Afternoon 4) Sunset and 5) Night. In my case since l am in North America l use an app or compass 🧭 to determine it. If anyone suggests any other direction besides Mecca l refuse that request. When visiting a mosque l check the direction , if it doesn't line up - l refuse. Simple as that.

@@negeto2460 Peace ✌️ Quran 2:149 speaks of turning your face (during salat) toward the sacred masjid (at least that is how l interpret it) - l understand the "sacred masjid" to be referring to "Mecca" in Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia is a country ruled (right now) by a cruel and despotic monarchy, which is supported by my country the United States ( why exactly lm not sure?) . That's why l said l face "Mecca" during my "contact prayers". I understand there to be 5 contact prayers every 24 hours. Although some dispute this and insist there are only 3 contact prayers. But regardless we're all pretty much in agreement we face (in the direction of) Mecca during the prayers, wherever we're at or maybe in the world at the time. We call this our Qiblah meaning direction of prayer. Granted none of us speak Arabic - we all rely on English Translations of the meaning of Quran - none of us are scholars, we can't do research, apart from Google searches - so we can't debate you on Arabic terminology. We care mostly about practicality - how we apply the teachings of the Quran in our own lives. Like the jinn we hear and listen to the Quran and report back to our people, who for the most part are hated and despised by Muslims generally speaking because we're not Arabs, we also reject hadith and don't speak Arabic - except for the little bits we learn here and there like the al fatiha prayer (Sura 1). We use Sura 1 to unlock 🔓 the contact prayers, or open the door to direct communication with God. In other words so we can speak to our Creator (God Alone). We never mention anyone else in our contact prayers to God Alone. We always face the direction of Mecca during our prayers. We say there is "no God but God" (la illaha ellah Allah) - this gets us into trouble with Muslims as well who claim it's impossible for ignorant kafirs like us to understand the Quran without following the path of the prophet Muhammad, meaning following "Hadith and Sunnah" which we believe are fairy tales. Fairy tales invented some 200 years after the prophet Muhammad died. Besides the Quran instructs us to reject "Hadith" and follow the Quran alone. By following the Quran alone we feel we following the messenger. Which we try to do to the best of our ability... So when someone talks about Qiblah we understand it to mean the direction we face during our contact prayers. You will have to forgive us if we make mistakes... We have no one to teach us but God alone who hopefully will open our eyes 👀 and forgive us our sins, which are many...and very serious., as we live in an idolatrous society, ruled by greed and money lending. By the way Jesus never claimed to be God or the son of God. The Quran tells us the truth in this matter...he was a prophet of God, a human being - much like those who came before him... And after him. He was never an idol worshipper.

May Allah reward you for your efforts in learning the true meaning of the Quran. I like your approach of looking for the definition of Quranic terms from within the Quran. I agree that Masjid Aqsa could not have been the first qibla but for different reasons. However, I disagree with your definition of the qibla. Here are some points to reflect upon:
1. Masjid Aqsa did not exist at the time of the Prophet pbuh. It was built around 700 CE by Caliph Abdul Malik bin Marwan. Also Quran tells that Ka'aba was the first house. So Masjid Aqsa can't be qibla awal.
2. Qibla is explained by the word 'shatra'. As you pointed out it means turning face towards something. Thus, Qibla is direction of prayers.
3. I'm glad you mentioned Qibla of Moses pbuh. The verse says make your houses Qibla and establish prayers. This command was made when Moses's people were under oppressive rule of the Pharoah. I am assuming that they did not have the liberty to openly perform prayers so they could pray in their homes. They had not been to Ka'aba so they could not have faced in that direction anyways.
4. You quoted 2:144 and used the translation that the prophet was looking towards the heavens. Other places you used your own translation of the Arabic text but here you missed it. The Arabic text is 'fi sama', which means within space. It is not 'ila sama' which would mean towards heaven.
5. Jews hold Jerusalem as their qibla but there is no mention in the Quran that Allah established Jerusalem as their qibla. Bible mentions that prophet Daniel while in captivity in Babylon, prayed facing Jerusalem. As we saw that in Quran, Allah told Moses pbuh to make qibla at home, it is likely that Jews continued to pray at their homes. When they were exiled from their homes and were in captivity in Babylon, they might have started facing towards Jerusalem where their former homes were.
6. As for east and west and your argument that qibla is not about direction, 2:143 clearly says that qibla was chosen to make you ummat wusta 'middle people'. Geographically, Ka'aba is neither in the east nor in the west, it is quite central.
7. Masjid al Haram at the time of the prophet pbuh was limited to Ka'aba itself. People would pray inside the Ka'aba. If you pray inside the Ka'aba, there is no qibla. You can pray in any direction.
In summary from the above points, one can see that Jews were praying in their houses. After they were exiled from their houses, they started praying towards their houses. Muslims were praying inside Ka'aba. When they migrated to Medina, they were praying in all directions. That's what 2:144 seems to point out that your face is turning within the space 'fi sama'. So Allah commanded to face Masjid al Haram from wherever you are. Thus, people turned to Masjid al Haram. This appeared to an ignorant third person that the muslims have changed their qibla (2:142) but in fact they had just established their qibla. When this news reached Masjid Quba, people were praying in the direction of Syria so they changed the direction towards Mecca (Bukhari 4490). Note that Bukhari mentions Syria and does not specifically mentions Jerusalem or Masjid Aqsa.

I still have the view that 'Qibla' is NOT about a 'literal' direction. But ofcourse, everyone has their way of understanding and may Allah accept this from us.

@@negeto2460 Yes, brother just watched your other video. It seems to me that you got the deeper meaning right. However, you deny the superficial meaning even though all the verses you quoted regarding the face points to qibla as direction. Brother you dived deep into the ocean which is good but remember you can only get to the depth by passing through the surface.
So let's keep praying facing the qibla with the understanding that a few degrees off does not invalidate our prayers and that we are not worshipping the Ka'aba. The direction of prayer is only symbolic.

Just like how the Qur'an is 'guidance', 'criterion', 'mercy', 'glad tidings', etc. The 'hikmah' is simply another attribute of the Qur'an my brother and there are numerous verses to prove this.

@@sirchale9272 saying 'Ameen' isn't really Quranic so to speak but rather traditional. It's just something that is commonly said around the Muslim world and I personally don't see anything wrong with it. May Allah guide us all!

You said that Allah does not change his word then What about Allah said in the Quran that when I change anything I replace it with something better or similar. So Al Aqsa was changed to Mekkah to better.

You must be referring to verse 2:106 where it reads:
"" We do not abrogate (nansakh) a verse (ayatin) or cause it to be forgotten (nunsiha) except that We bring forth [one] better (bikhayrin) than it or similar to it (mithliha). Do you not know that Allāh is over all things competent?""
It does not say "change" in the verse. The arabic word "nansakh" could mean to destroy/abrogate or to copy/transcribe. Please watch my video called "2 types of Verses & Abrogation" video where I explain this.
If Qiblah means a meeting place, and not direction, then how do you explain the verses mentioning qiblah? Why is God talking about a meeting place? What is the significance? What was the meeting place initially and what then become the meeting place after it got changed?

Al-Aqsa wasn't built as a mosque when Muslims were facing that direction. In fact, it wasn't in the hands of Muslims during the life of the prophet ﷺ.

5:39 doesn't prove anything related to that hadith. In fact, that verse confirms the possibility of Allah ﷻ speaking to a human being using one of three methods. So, how did you conclude otherwise?

The conclusion you make in this video is that the word قبلة "Qibla" means:
A gathering spot, or a meeting location. You repeatedly state it does NOT mean "direction of prayer"
I guess you searched the Qur'an for similar words and read the translations for each verse and tried to find a meaning for the word Qibla based on these translations, but not the meaning used by "traditional" Muslims. You were not looking for its meaning based on the context. Your goal was to avoid a specific meaning. Sure enough you found a verse 10.87 and it might give you a different meaning. Then you applied the new meaning to the other verses.
So how do Muslims follow the order in the verse when it says: "wherever you may be"?
How do we "turn our faces" to this "gathering spot" wherever we may be?
Again, you struggle with Arabic and jump to wrong conclusions.
- The same word can have several meanings. This includes the word قبلة Qibla.
- The list of meanings you get from a dictionary, like Lane's, based on some root is not complete. Consider the word قَبْلَ "qabla" which means * before *, opposite of بعد "after"

Verse 145 is not talking in the past tense, when both Muslims and Jews used to face the same direction, the verse is talking about the future. Based on the Qur'an alone, 19.17-21, Gabriel is having a conversation with Mary. So did Gabriel come to the prophet to tell him a verse or more and leave, or was there more than that. Bro, you take things too LITERALLY and you know arabic better than me! Take a look at these verses:
"" And [commanded], 'Direct YOUR FACE (wajhaka) [i.e., self] toward the religion, inclining to truth, and never be of those who associate others with Allāh."" {10:105}
"" So direct YOUR FACE (wajhaka) [i.e., self] toward the correct religion before a Day comes from Allāh of which there is no repelling. That Day, they will be divided. "" {30:43}
Which direction is the 'Deen' of Allah bro?? Is it east? west? above, below?? How can we direct our FACES (wajhaka / wujuuhakum) to the 'deen'?? Is this about a direction we must face LITERALLY?
Furthermore, Allah clealy tells us that piety (al-birra) is NOT that WE TURN (tuwallu) OUR FACES (wujuuhakum) to the east and the west {2:177}! Therefore, verses 2:142-150 CANNOT be talking about a LITERAL direction we must face (for prayer). But rather, we must be mindful and direct ourselves for the Deen of Allah and strive to become haneefan - just like Ibrahim (a.s). This can only be possible by adherring to the Qur'an.

This is your ASSUMPTION and SPECULATIONS that comes from your LAHWAL-HADITHS! Your Traditions have blinded you from seeing the truth bro! Just because you know good arabic doesn't mean you know the Qur'an better than others. Guidance will come to you when you engage with the Qur'an - not when you let your scholars / forefathers dictate the religion for you.
Finally, you are again ASSUMING /GUESSING that Gibreel brought some other revelation (wahi ghayri matlu / wahi baatin) to prophet Muhammad (a.s). Bring your proof if what you say is true!

You mixed two similar words together. This verse mentions قبل while your topic is about قبلة and if you look closely their transliteration are different. That's where I stopped watching.

Thank you for pointing that out. However, both 'Qibala' and 'Qibalata' come from the SAME root! Which can mean the following:
To accept/admit/receive/agree, meet anyone, to face/encounter someone/something, advance/approach, correspond, counteract/compare/requite/compensate, the front part, accept with approval, show favour.
Most Mufassirs have translated it as 'towards/to' in verse 2:177 which is understandable from the context. But it makes no sense to translate it as 'direction of prayer' in all other verses as outlined in my video.
Especially if you consider verse 10:87 where Allah commands Moses (as) to make your HOUSES qiblatan! Did Allah instruct Moses to build their houses LITERALLY to face/point towards a particular direction??
Whether you watch my videos or not akhi, I pray that Allah guides us all to the straight path.

You keep making the same set of mistakes and end up with wrong conclusions. You need to face the fact you don't know Arabic and your method of trying to get the "gist" of what these verses are saying is not the proper way to deal with the Qur'an. You are imposing your own rules over the Qur'an. The list of possible meanings based on one root is not comprehensive. Verse 10:87 is one example.
In your other video you confused مهد cradle and مهدي a guided person, what did you do after you learned about your mistake?
