  • We have snow peas, giant kale, and tomatoes in the hotbed greenhouse in June. The watering is automatic so all we have to do is go out and harvest. The plants that are aging out are being fed to the meat rabbits so the cycle continues.

If you ever decide to do weekly or biweekly garden tours I would watch every one♥️. I hope to start homesteading soon using a lot of your methods. Doesn't bother me one bit that hotbeds aren't as "pretty" as others. Yours are bursting with life and that is both beautiful and functional.

I find FREE metal bed frames online.
The right angle metal is stronger than T posts and a great substitute.
You made an excellent point about pea vines adding moisture to bedding for newborns. 🖖-KJ

I love ur work ❤. Im using ur ideas and previous/current projects on my own property. Thank u for ur mentoring spirit 💓 we do appreciate it. My hotbed do not have the arch over them yet but they're filled and were planted and are bursting forth with life. My only problem is some of my cabbages look partially bleached. No animal's get in there, I don't use sprays, and its not all of my cabbages, they are also the same type. Idk what happened. The bleaching occurred last week out of nowhere. This past Tuesday my state smelled like burning plastic or trash. The same smell was noticed by people in various states from Michigan to Missouri. I saw a recent DOUG & STACY video and we were quite active in the comments section sharing our experiences and observations. I lost my voice, but it's making a come back. Thank u for teaching us how to grow as naturally as possible. The chemical assault seems endless these days😢.

Loveyou the abundance look. Glad your auto water system is working so well. Want to adopt it as another early drought year. Prepping to launch the compost greenhouse this fall.

Your hotbed greenhouse is amazing again this year! Glad you are using the 80/20 rule to meet the family needs and reduce labor. Love all your innovations and the income flow is a definite need. Have I missed any of the updates on the new hotbed greenhouse? Is it going to go live this winter? Love your content.

Could you set this rabbit cage on the ground and they could eat grass through the bottom? I don't want to risk them getting out but i would love for them to eat the clover etc. But i don't know if it's a good idea

Love your work and heart. I am on the beginning of this journey but I am 63. Started this fall a greens garden and saw how to do a hoop house with the panels. Winter setting in and I so appreciate being able to go in my cobbled together hoop house to feel like I'm still gardening.
I am not sure if I saw the full cycle of your spring or winter beds. Are they continuous grow putting in as one plant completes or do these greenhouse beds have a down time?
Is there much sinking and do you add from top or pull your top layer off first?

Im thinking of getting a four seasons garden, but i don't want to waste $ on something flimsy. What kind do you recommend?
