I was so stinking obsessed with this game back in the day ... it's about time I did something to its actual intro and not the OVA one XD (Also my first ever literal was for the Tales of Graces intro, despite what my upload history says, so it really is about time XD) Enjoy~

@@RandomZebra257 It wasn't even an instrumental of the JP song, they just made up songs for Symphonia and Knight of Ratatosk (stupidly branded as Dawn of a New World outside of Japan)

I love it! XD Kratos doing squats...gotta keep that old body in shape somehow. I didn't realize that the JP version of the intro had a different song over the video. I'm a bit more partial to the song used in the North American version, but that's just familiarity bias. This song is great!
They've added the original Japanese opening in the PS3/PC remaster.

"Push his veins around" was...weird (she was drawing letters, c'mon), but overall I CANNOT THANK YOU ENOUGH FOR MAKING THIS. I first played Symphonia nine and half years ago, am forever replaying, and I love it fiercely. It's not the only Tales game I've ever played, but it's hands down my favorite.
I never knew that the Tales of Symphonia had openings, the only thing I knew about this series is Lloyd. Now I’m going to listen to all of them

@@samuelcollantes1175 well, it's a relativity old game, i think it came out in 2003 or 2004. And the second thing is because all of the Tales games (ie. Tales of Symphonia, Tales of Xillia, Tales of Vespira, Tales of the Abyss) that I have ever played, have an anime style opening that plays before the title screen, but it is completely skippable
The "Tales" game series are in a sense, fantasy anime in game format. They are video games but the story format, characters and other esthetics greatly resembles an anime. Each of the games have a moderately long storyline.

Oh my goodness-- Tales of Symphonia? Yes! I wasn't aware this version existed because I grew up with the (hype) American version of the song instead, but the game will always hold a special place in my heart regardless. Great work as always!
The Japanese song was readded into the PS3/PC Symphonia remaster.
I will take this over the orchestral opening from the Western release every time!

Holy shit I didn't know other people knew about TOS! It was my all time favourite video game when I was a kid, it was the whole reason I desperately wanted a gamecube (a part from HM its a wonderful life, I FUCKIN LOVED THAT GAME TOO). A couple of years ago, I showed it to my fiance and he absolutely fell in love with it!! It made me so happy to show him something that could make him so happy. So when I saw this on your channel it reminded me of when me and him would play it together and how much we both loved it. Thank you
