They used to come on a compilation disk. PS2 had a magazine with a demo disk for each issue. It was really neat to get a little taste of a bunch of games. I had one with Jak 3 and Driv3r demos on it. They were so sick, I played them heaps without ever playing the full games. The best demo ever was Halo Combat Evolved for PC. It had one of the campaign levels and one of the multi-player maps. The map was Blood Gultch, and it had a server browser. It was like a semi-permanent multi-player beta.
I guess it's like that for this, since this is an actual first few chapters of a full game. They are saying that, on a full game, you won't HAVE to replay these demo levels, you can continue on if you choose to, which is great. I guess that's why the demo is so long... I am having a blast with the demo and I can't wait for my pre-order on March..

my tribe in Uganda is a derivative of the Bantu people and the Bantu gods have cool mythology all over Africa. i hope this game got their inspiration from that
1:16:00 that guy was ozma, a friend of khazan, basically best friends, both were betrayed by the empire, or more likely the king itself, its a short story in the DFO episode quests, where they show us how khazan became the god of destruction and ozma became the god of chaos, while khazan became a pure berserker with the bleed phantom as a previous warrior, ozma was a godly wizard that got sealed by stealing his eyes, making him end up betraying his own race for the empire's betrayal, becoming a king among demons in the demon realm.
Just finished the demo. This game is legit af. Balanced well, pretty good parry frames, great combat, great camera, graphics, upgrades, you earn exp you can spend when you fight bosses and die instead of needing to grind endlessly while not learning the fight, everything is very on point. These guys did an amazing job with this one. Really can't wait for the full release.
for real. we'll have to enjoy this while we can before the fromsoft puritans flood into the conversation & start shitting on it for being "too easy" and there being "no challenge"
Dissappointed, they went full souls-like. I at the very least expected them to drop the stamina bar and encourage a faster, more aggressive playstyle to match the moveset and character.
