Feeling bad for him though after being man of the series in his final ODI series..He got one chance in Test against England after that but he was not able to pick up the wickets, then in T20 chahal started to took the charge from the 3rd T20I against England in 2017....Maybe due to his failure in T20 and Test against England might have landed him trouble..Although, no player can take wickets in every matches..There can be off-season as well....But I think he should have been given some decent number of chances..But in Team 11 or 15 members squad there are 1000's of aspirants and so every talent cannot get the chance to play for India everytime..
Always remember chahal took those wickets only because of pressure build up by mishra.. chahal cannot be compared to his class

sufal das , bro not only Kohli but dada as well as Mahi....Mahi brought Pragyan Ojha to replace Mishra in test and then brought Jadeja to replace Ojha..Mishra performed well in Zimbabwe in 2013 picking up 18 wickets in a ODI series. Then subsequently he got one or two chances against Australia in ODI played in 2013 but conceded many runs....They he again been added in 2014 World Cup T20. His fitness was the concern at that time.....Once Mahi left the test cricket, Mishra again got the chance in test in 2015.....He performed well against Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and South Africa in 2015 in test....I don’t remember about him much after that...In 2016 when England came to India that time Mishra wasn’t able to pick up the wickets in test and followed by a T20 game against England in 2017...Although, just for one or two bad games of other format doesn’t decide anything....He should have been given some more chance for sure....But yeah can’t do much

We have to learn from rahul David ... He never complained never talked about what others had done with him ... He did everything for cricket gloves, open , bowl, or even at some point time he held the record of fastest fifty as well opposite to his batting instincts and then had some disputes with ganguly, chappel and dhoni and eventually made him to say good bye to international cricket.but he is a true gentleman of all forms of life.
