me as well all the damned time. Or worse yet, I forget to check my inventory.KNOWING I have a chest FULLof poitions and bandages ect..ONLY to forget to resupply.
Great videos agnaar! Watched the whole beginners guide series and it really got me way more into the game. Started a new game when 3.0 came out too. Haven't done much with the sorcery yet, doesn't seem that appealing. Anyways, thanks for the content!
A few points my brother:- Learning Agility makes you move faster and a little more stamina increase. You don't have to take agility to use agility weapons. You can go full strength and still get higher damage from your heavy blows with agility weapons. Or if you went AGI you can get backstab increase with STR weapons. The Abyssal Rhino Steed despawns (makes a portal after they start looking molten they blink out of existence!....looks really cool at night.)
If you had kept going around the island, (eastward along the southern coast of it) there should've been two more foals, and I have always gotten a swift one there. Thanks for the series!!! Really enjoying it!!!
That magma wall looks pretty dope! It might have some pve utility, with three casters you could potentially trap npc's in a triangle of flame. That could be pretty cool
I wonder if enemies will run into it, say pulling them on a bridge or narrow pass, caste it blocking them where they have to get through it to get to you.
@@whatsagrinder oh! That would be dope too! I wonder if it would push people off if you put it in the middle of the bridge. With that in mind can you make an ice bridge & magma wall at the same time? And would NPC's use the bridge? LOL
The area around the black galleon and the galleon itself has a fair amount of bearer spawns and named thralls. After about 2 hours or so I had 20ish bearer packs and had two packs with 500 and 1000 alchemical base 😄
I have been following you for a while now. I have caught a liking to your videos as I love playing open world survival games and Conan was a pretty good choice as I am playing on PS5. I would absolutely love it to Play with you so I can also learn the game properly. I am binging your beginners guide, tbh I actually try and do everything you did, I cannot however get a greater shaleback. 🥺 But never the less I keep on keeping on.
42:58 ...or absolutely no alchemical base and a bunch of crystal instead. Damn I have been really unlucky lately. Four T3 bearer packs and zero alchemical base.
@16:50 I always wondered how you didn't know about those fouls just east of Xanthar's Crossing. They're right on the way to the witch queen and kind of hard to miss and I know you've done the witch queen.
Yeah, I had only been along the north or south banks of the river to get over there and had never been on that island. Also by the time I went there I was much higher level, already had a horse, and wasn't even thinking about foals 😞
So not finding these early spells very exciting at all, although can see a use for Imbue Wisp later. Abyssal Horse was handy to travel with, but now I have my horses I can’t see me using that again. On my level 60 I found Raise the Dead to be fun using a Cimmerian Berserker 😎
I binged your last guide, great work, very helpful!!!! Really looking forward for this one! You're putting the work in man! A quick question for you or the viewers, does anyone know: is the Dregs still thrall-friendly? I'm about to head in and don't wanna lose my named and well trained friend too a stupid acid-pool.
Thanks for episode, great tip with jungle foals, going there right now for my first horse on new save. About alchemical base, maybe you can try getting some gold coins and buy few rocknose eggs (npc in the Den sells them) and them take them to get steady supply of gold, it's not very fast method depending on your animal pen speed setting but it's reliable and over time you'll get tons of gold and silver and would be cool guide for ppl who don't wanna lootbox lottery from bearers:)
its a very time heavy investment which in my experience so far, is only for additive gold , major gold income is from obsidian harvest with the apropriate expertise skill and goldnoses harvesting and ofc the best tools u can get
*A cataxlysmic, potentially world ending event begins, as C'thulu tries to fit through a portal in the sky that is too small* Hmm. Interesting. *goes about his business* Lmao
I’m trying to figure out if sorcery is even worth it. So far nothing is jumping out at me as a must have spell. Plus casting a spell seems to take way to long. How can that be used in combat.
@@AngaarUK true, but unless you played PVP, prior to mounted combat being nerfed, it's hard to explain the dread/adrenaline rush of hearing a horse approach you from behind.LOL

does anyone know a video or guide on purge pathing mechanics? I know the settings, I'm talking how they path, and target priorities. will they blindly walk into spikes, or will they go after weakest wall, etc.
Hello Angaar! please upgrade your benches to improved. I know i have sayed this in the first or second episode but will help you a lot with reducing the resources necessary (i know you know this i assume you were focused on other things). :P

I just got me 3 of those zombies, used the t4 just accross the river for all of them but the health variation between them is huge, I have the well trained authority perk and the strongest had 4,4k hp and the least strong only has around 2,8k hp,none the less they wrecked the 3 skull crocodile boss with some help from me and the one with least hp came pretty close to dying.. I'm not even 60 yet and have nothing to heal them in combat so they are pretty damn strong.. gonna have keep making them untill I get 2 more with big health pool.. oh and you're gonna need skulls for spells pretty soon, make the god altar for the z-god (forgot the name lol) and use the ceremonial dagger/skinning knife to "skin" spider corpses and they drop lootboxes that have some wild things in them including full camel carcasses but also weathered skulls, by far the easiest amd fastest way to get them..
The skeletons are a great way to get Weathered Skulls too, just east of the sinkhole is skelly camp, the steps of Khael's Stronghold and the South-West section of Unnamed City
I died while out and about with my horse and after a day or so it was back at my base. (Did the rescue on the followers page, no clue what that does but i did not go back to the spot).
If you die when out and about your thralls and mount will revert from Following to Scouting. Then after a certain amount of time they will "Return Home" which is to the last location they were set to guard. The Rescue option is a way of forcing them back to you, however they will loose everything in their inventory when they do it.
Angaar, how did you tame the 1 skull boss Tessa the Blade? I've been trying to tame one on Isles of Siptah, but end up killing him instead. I've researched it and it is said you can't tame them. Are you using a mod for it?
Don’t know about Siptah but you can certainly tame the noob river 1 skull named fighter on Exiled Lands. You can see me taming her at the start of the the Learn Sorcery episode. You need plenty of points in Authority and a decent truncheon to do enough concussive damage to not kill them.
I saw that episode which is why I have been trying to tame one. I'll try your suggestion and add more points to authority. Thank you for your response.
And 'Savory Feast' food, via the Stove, buffs 'Concussive Damage +15%' - really helpful, but especially combined with the Blunt Weapon Reinforcement, it's literally, er, 'knockout!'
hi. I have a question for anyone. that may know why. I have my home base about in the same area. and I am unable to drag thralls across the river. I have a binding made out of thick leather
I'm on exactly the same spot as Angaar and have had no trouble dragging any thralls across any part of the river (using rawhide bindings). And some from Skulker's End - so a fair distance. i) Are you repairing your bindings as you swim? ii) Are able to get closer or opposite Angaar's area before swimming across - just in case that helps? - but I don't understand why that's happening with you at all...)
I think I was able to get past that bug. but now a new one. I got a thrall I drag across the river. and put it on my wheel of pain and I put in the bowl of growl and drop the thrall in and click start no thrall walking around the wheel nor is it in the bottom right. where you should see it and see how much longer it has left to train.
@@greywolfmc6075 Just checking - The one box at the very top marked 'Thrall' is for a specific 'Slave Master' type of thrall - don't put your thrall there. You should be placing your bound thrall icon anywhere into the large grid same as the gruel... (I made that mistake when first taming thralls)
New to this play through, but I kinda hope you dump the magic stuff. Seems underwhelming and not worth the downsides. I binged your guide series. Great work.
Forgetting something in the crafting bench before you head out is so relatable. I do it all the time. 🙂

Your reaction to the magma sums up my feeling to all the spells so far.
Yeah, a lot of meh!
Not alot going for spells as far as mods go also.
First thing I thought of upon seeing the title was "Regulators! Mount up!" Haha.
The darkness is a set area, in PvE it could be used for thrall hunting. It reduces the amount of NPCs that can agro to you because they can’t see you.
Nice ! let’s play 3.0 has been great
