Ocavy, e is one of those numbers like pi. It’s actually (1 + 1/x)^x as x approaches infinity but approximately 2.7 hope that helps!

Why would this man say that pie can not be written as a fraction....any decimal number can be written as a fraction.... perhaps I'm wrong, if some who was taught 22/7 is pie written as a fraction, they might be confused now.
