The 1000 step walk to Aagaya Gangai waterfalls in Kolli Hills | South India Monsoon

Kolli Malai is an offbeat hill station in TN - between Trichy and Salem. The most famous attraction at this place is the trek/walk to the Aagaya Gangai Falls.
Aagaya Gangai means 'The Ganges from the Sky'. During the rainy season, it truly is a wonder. We were very lucky. It had been raining hard for the past few days. There was of course the worry that the access would be closed due to the rains, but luckily the skies opened up in the morning (we were there just for an overnight stay) and we were able to go to the falls.
It is a 1200 step walk to the falls. Not difficult at all. Will not take more than 30 mins to reach the fall. Yo to climb down to go to the fall and climb up (the difficult part!) on the way back.
Do not miss this if you are in Kolli hills.
