good work. I found this problem when I played this game on my Master System with a genesis controller. fortunately I had 1 working master system controller. Bomber Raid is better with the FM sound chip
Very interesting. Would the reverse be possible? Ie: making a Master System controller pass as a Megadrive controller, for that nostalgic feel. (Minus 2 buttons of course.) It's quite specific, but the Retro Freak's controller adapter does not work with a SMS controller but does work with a Megadrive one. That thing is good to play Game Gear on a TV too. It could also come in handy with some Game Gear external controller mods that allow plugging in a Megadrive controller (Otaku's Land store for example). Also there are some SMS hacks modified to work with a Megadrive controller so you have the pause button (this would require the drilling of a small button, only instead of the SMS Pause mod, wired to the Megadrive Start button).

couldn't you just pull the pin from a controller extension cable? ill test on my mark 3 and get back to u
That "fix" works on original master system console?
I believe so.
Do you pull the pin on both sides?
Any more than the one would be redundant.
