Ok, that’s the first electronic drum kit I’ve heard in maybe two years!? That sounds excellent. I don’t want the kit but I’m very tempted by the module.
Awesome playing as always. Im looking to upgrade my td17 module. Was thinking about td27 but now that you posted this GEWA im at a crossroad. Which direction should i take?
If you notice, there is some bad open hihat triggering, I also own a td17 (kvx) and I am planning to sell it and buy an Efnote 3x, from what i've seen in the videos, you wont have that open hihat problem
Hello, I own a g5 with non gewa pads. I had to dig into the trigger parameters to fine tune everything but at the end It works pretty well. I can even do good pressing rolls on the snare. I also think it's nice that gewa made ( and hope will make ) upgrades and support the module.
I bought the G5 and use Splittercables to add more Pads. So now i have Mono Tom pads, but now 5 Toms and 6 Cymbals. But some Cymbals are now also Mono without Choke function etc. But i think only few People need Choke function on Splash or China.
When you play with Superior Drummer 2/3 all of sound kits of Roland, Yamaha, Gewa, Pearl, Alesis the sound are not so good. I can't say the same for the feel of playing with those factory kits.
Yes but you're comparing a drum module to a VST instrument, and a very good one (most people accept SD3 is the best of them all) Though personally I think the Pearl Mimic Pro is the closest to a VST than any other drum module about, it basically IS a VST in a hardware machine.
Hi there - there’s actually missing the bottom cymbal which comes with it and would offer a lot more stability. Not sure what is the reason but our Hi-hats always come with a bottom one.
Hello, I'm using and adh-14 ATV hihat with the gewa g5 and It works pretty well. Don't have the bell sound but from bow/edge I'm able to play even the softer notes. The transition open/close Is nice: I tweaked it a little bit and works fine.
@@fabiotomba9597 great to hear it works well for you. The bell sound is just available with our GEWA hi-hats as we have the bell trigger zone on all of our cymbals.
@@GEWADigitalDrums Hey guys, yeah weird thing, mine came without the bottom. Double checked every box when I reboxed, but somehow it was missing. Didn't think about it much actually, as the triggering was working as it should anyhow. In the end I think it's nice to show, that you can actually use the hihat controller without the bottom as an option to cut down physical volume when playing the hihat with the foot :) kind regards & thanks for being around!
Looks great, cymbals sound great because they are supposed to be Paiste cymbals, but the drum sounds are lacking! Especially the snare? For the money the snare sounds are crap. Sucks cause I loved the look and cymbals sounds a lot.

Thank you Zac!
I love the sounds, perfect combination of acoustic and electronic sounds encompassing most of the genres.
While I like seeing and hearing the kits, I really watch just to see Ralf play. Outstanding!
Thank you so much Glenn! :)

Do it! I just bought one yesterday!
@@geobaker6403 Happy drumming! :)
Excellent drum sounds! The playing... 5 stars!!
Thanks man! :)
These kits sound good. Your playing is, as always, outstanding! Some slick "Pat Boone, Debbie Boone" action around the 7:40 mark 😂
😀 thanks Michael!
@drumtecTV for future videos would be great if you could add an extra microphone to record the kit's noise for comparing them eventually.
Uhhhh so cool🎉🥁🥁🥁🙏🏻🎧

TD27 supposed to have the best hi hats in the game, what did you go with?

Hey Ralf! I’ve heard some people add issues with the trigger system. Did you noticed this kind of things when you play this kit? (Killer vid btw🔥)

If you just want a lot of inputs on a Module and trigger Superior Drummer with it, would you recommend this Module or Roland TD27?

Are the hihats bounce-y like that or can they be tightened? Do they feel comparable to efnote 5 or VAD504?
Ok yes , this sounds better than the Roland I have ... But I Still think Superior Drummer 3 is a life saver for me...
Td50x and Gewa g5 which one you choose?
Pearl mimic pro..😉
Cool
How is the hi hat on the kit?
Is it bad?
Can this drum go on the Pearl mimic pro module?

That hi-hat is bothering me. Reminds me of the Lemon v11 that is too bouncy even when closed. Wish they could emulate Roland hats. Great sound tho
Very true.

Fantistic
It’s great but the ATV AD5 is still the better sounding module
Life is too short for bad Drums
It is! :)
Is it available in india ??
