Hey guys, as we learnt in our last session how to sketch face in Mithila or Mathubani style, here I am using the same techniques to make an entire painting. This is a painting of an Indian bride, where you can learn how to sketch the face, and decorate it with jewellery. Also you can learn a completely new design of border.
I usually stick to the authentic technique and show you exactly how it is done in Mithila region. Also the designs I create are my own, so they are unique, exclusive and completely new.

A4 size Handmade Paper as base
Nib in nib holder to sketch
Round Brush - size 0, 1
Acrylic Paint - Black, Yellow, Pink, Olive, Skin color, Royal Blue

It’s a calligraphy pen that I am using which is dipped in paint to sketch, this is the traditional method used by Mithila artists. You can also use a thin brush to sketch.
