    Excellent discussion, but the recording is unfortunately fairly quiet. Unfortunate also that Christopher Duggan is no longer with us, I pray that he found rest and safety in the next world.

    How can he speak at such length without giving any concrete examples to support what he says? Does not seem to have any mastery of the material

    Didn't Mussolini push to make Italians eat risotto because it was a more 'hardy' food, apparently.

      No, because Italy is the largest European producer of rice and Mussolini was aiming at making the country completely self sufficient
