Amen! I grew up in Tulsa and was never taught about the Osage murders or Black Wall Street massacre. Shameful!
History must be preserved lest we never repeat the atrocities of the horrific past.

Some of us natives have had to live next to these settler families -and still do
    Let that sink in
This happened to more than one tribe in Oklahoma-see Angie Debo

I am so sorry for what you have had to go through… we stand with you and are looking forward to being informed and bringing light to something like this. They brought light to Tulsa, OK and what happened there using the power of film and they’re going to do the same for the Osage people.

I never knew what my ancestry was I've been digging into it I've already uncovered two massacres in my family my great-grandfather was born in Oklahoma before it was even state on a reservation and he would never talk about his past I know nothing about my family other than what I found online and it's not great.

Of course not! People do not want to know the truth! I hope many ears and eyes will be open up about this horrific and true story! Just one of the MANY, many more things that have to be shouted on the house tops!! Prayers and Blessings to those who bring all the wrongs done to all our Indigenous race from the tip of South America to North America! Bring it to the light!!

We have our tragic story and a warriors victory song! During the great depression of 1931 on the Crow creek sioux Indian reservation of SD half a mile northwest from the town stephan SD. A large encampment over sixty to eighty hunkpati Dakota sioux people were brutal cruelly murdered there! By a over a hundred Americans civilians intruders who wanted to take away their entire northern part of the reservation during the two hot summer days of August of 1931! During the time of the sooner policy act the reservation land take over of the better half of the 20th century! Geronimo's famous words why does the white eye want all land! The only sioux Indian bloody conflict east of the beautiful Missouri River of South Dakota! Many decades after the Indian wars came to a finally ending! The Dakota sioux Indian men heard the very sad tragic story from the young children who saw an witness the tragedy unfolded there will hiding a safe distance away. The men's hearts were broken from the lost of their own love ones who wrongfully murdered there! The very next day an over welming of a huge numbers of brave Dakota and Lakota sioux indian warriors would have very impressive intense bloody conflict against the guilty murderous intruders, who wrongfully murdered the poor innocent lives earlier the previous day! In the sioux warriors favor dust will rise from the horses hooves! They would attack an chase out the rest of the defeated wounded weakened American survivors intruders, who escaped or fled back across the reservation border lands! To their own ranches and towns never wanting to take back the hunkpati Dakota sioux people's traditional reservation Buffalo hunting grounds and our rich fertile farm lands along the beautiful Missouri River! It was known as the Buffalo County war or the Great war for the northern part of the reservation! We have always felt death since the sioux Indian wars from 1854 to 1890 then the Cheney rush bloody conflict of the early twenty century! The last true great victory of retribution for the poor lost innocent murdered lives at the brutal Cheney rush massacre, the second sand creek massacre of 1864! The Cheney rush massacre victory site is still there today half a mile northwest from the town stephan along the highway to the capital of Pierre SD. North to the two small rolling hills! The one hill on the left side were the secret mass grave site is still there today! As a great victory for the native American indigenous people of North America! This is our very sad tragic story of 1931! My historical information for today. Have a great fabulous wonderful day.
