I got inspired to try out jazz transcriptions for the first time after looking at some of your interviews and went to some joey alexander (way above my pay grade as I soon found out) it was shocking how the simple stuff on piano just required so much dexterity on guitar.
Incredible. Have you ever thought about transcribing some classical violin pieces? For example a Ysaye sonata or Sarasate’s Zigeunerweisen? There aren’t many guitarists out there who could tackle virtuoso violin repertoire but you’re one of them!
I just want to say how much I LOVE that your channel is just undeniably excellent guitar playing. A lot of youtube channels have dudes that aren't nearly as good, but spend a lot of time on thumbnails, or using cheesy editing, stuff they probably learn at some "how to blow up on youtube " seminar. Its really refreshing to just enjoy watching someone masterfully play guitar.
not a fan of overproduced videos as well, but realistically most of us will never reach this level of pure technique so I guess some choose to focus their efforts elsewhere… while thinking about that, I noticed that his amp says MATCHLESS, and his shirt says UNDEFEATED 🫠 damn
He has original pieces on this channel......inspired by Paco, and sylvain luc are around 3 or 4 videos before this one. He also has a small playlist with his compositions from uni and there are other originals scattered throughout though mostly on instagram.
