Agnethas voice on Don't Shut me Down is as beautiful as ever, Fridas on this track really is wonderful, when you take into consideration Frida has barely recorded anything in 35 years, Agnetha has actually been releasing material in the last 16 years since her hiatus, so for me to hear Fridas voice again has been wonderful
I love both songs! They are all between 71 and 76 years old. Proud to be a Swede! It's a privilege listening to them. I am getting emotional! Looking forward to November, 5th, when the album will be released! ❤🇸🇪🎶
Damn, dude. You have come a long way from “Are they a one-hit wonder?” To being able to pick out that Frida is singing lead in I Still Have Faith in You. It’s been awesome experiencing these with you after being an original fan since the 70’s. Thank you for sharing all these, and your perspective. I’d love to see you share these with a buddy or colleague who’d also be new to them. Imagine the reactions. ☺️
I was too young for ABBA in their heydey but only just ! I started watching your abba reactions about 1 month ago which turned me into a huge fan ! Now they have a comeback …seems surreal - I just wanted to thank you for your passion it really rubs off 👍👍
They are having a purpose built 3,000 person arena in London. They did 5 weeks of motion capture on songs for the show. The show will last 1hour plus 50 minutes long with a live band with the digital wizards at Industrial Light & Magic. The head bender is that the arena is transportable to other cities, Las Vegas is in the tour schedule. I loved the song very emotional for me a fan from back in the day. The ladies voices are still amazing. Peace out !
A very retrospective and reassuring song, with Frida in the lead. Welcome back ABBA, welcome back comforting music. Sweden rules !!! ABBA and Sabaton with new albums this year, great!
1. I Still Have Faith in You is malancholic, it's the type of song which grows in you as you listen to it more and more often. 2. Don't Shut Me Down is more upbeat and dancy, the type which you like straight away. Conclusion- Both are great and have their own strengths. Just enjoy them as they are
Thanks for the ABBA. Frida is 75 if I'm not mistaken. I know both girls were very concerned with maintaining the younger image of ABBA. Agnetha is a lot calmer now but still doesn't fly. On her 2013 album she told the label she would only promote for 6 weeks and no flying. And I don't think any of them really care to tour again. If you watch the B?B interview Benny talks about writing music everyday still but this being such a blessing. With a project he has an outlet and the juices start really flowing. Bjorn agreed and said it gives them purpose again. I think all of them love the creative part just not the showbiz part. But Benny said he thinks Bjorn likes it the most. It's a great Frida song, the kind she does best. But it's very bitter sweet and meant to be.
BEAUTIFUL IS ALL I CAN SAY!! SO MANY MEMORIES..LOVE YOU ABBA!! FRIDA & AGNETHA ARE GREAT AS EVER!! WHEN THE ABBATARS APPEARED ALL I COULD SAY WAS..WOOOOOOOW!! ABBA FOREVER!! 💖💖💖💖
I STILL HAVE FAITH IN YOU, AND DON'T SHUT ME DOWN, NEW CLASSICS FROM ABBA. ABBA SOUND IS BACK STRONGER THAN EVER. THANK YOU FOR THE MUSIC AGAIN ABBA 🤩🤩🤩🤩
Like your reaction and look forward to you reacting to the other new song "Don't Shut Me Down". Not really holograms but rather a new digital light technology. In London there is being built a special concert venue just for the ABBA avatars (Abba-tars) Also, Lucas film light magic (star wars) is assisting with this project. It will stay in London for several years before moving elsewhere, like Las Vegas. I for one am just over the moon with happiness for the full new album being released Nov. 5. Tears of joy watching, listening to the video "I Still Have Faith In You" for the first time. The magic of ABBA is back !
The concerts are in a purpose built venue in London's Olympic park. The concerts are virtual, they spent 5 weeks in special suits performing ever song in the show
Depending on how it goes- I wonder if bands like Led Zeppelin might do something similar. Robert Plant doesn’t want to perform with Led Zeppelin, why not have his 20-something self do it?
Until now two new ABBA songs have been known, both different in their themes and leading voices And both have the ABBA trademark on their solvency in musical composition and production We know the great spirit of perfection that Björn and Benny impress on their creations, and both new creatures live up to their great successes of the 80s. So the biggest mystery was to know the state of the voices of Agnetha and Frida and how they could react to the inevitable passing of the decades and their possible comparisons with previous classics. And I must also say that they both look very good And in that "look" there is an extraordinary job of caring for Björn and Benny to "take care" of their historical singers, partners and former partners. They gave them two wonderful songs, with beautiful melodies and deep lyrics, but they were also surrounded by the iconic hooks and the appeal to emotional nostalgia "I still have faith in You" is an unpublished song in its conception in the history of ABBA because it is self-referential about them as a group, and it is also testimonial, because they tell us about their experiences in all this time Musically it is a ballad with mystical and epic A stately and majestic piano, and Frida's soft voice conducts and recreates ABBA's story with poignant beauty, with Agnetha joining in some verses to emphasize The sound of the drums arrives (a nod to the mega hit "Fernando") as if preparing the change of rhythm And with a powerful guitar comes that first unpublished chorus, because this time all ABBA sings from the bowels of its history and with the strength of its testimony of life, of healing and togetherness. And in the second chorus, even stronger, it becomes very clear that ABBA sings with the passion and courage that Björn's excellent lyrics stand out, it is like a triumphant song of their survival and their bond. And it ends with a solo by Frida, flawless, with the flutes at the end Also isn't a commercial song (more than 5 minutes) it's so emotional, with a fantastic vídeo of all greatest memories of pictures, official videos of 70s songs and Australia tour ABBA really comes back at high level The world needs ABBA sound
A Power Ballad and a Disco song .. imagine if *DISCO* makes a comeback and we get that crazy Studio 54 stuff back in rotation. I'm a rocker but that would sure be cool. Far out man ;-) I have to admit I sort of like this. Nothing sounds like this today, it is ABBA and you just have to surrender to it. Thanks for the comments man. Cheers 🍺
given agnetha’s mental health and desire for privacy, i’m glad the shows will be holograms. it’s so lovely that they can create music and give the fans a live experience without potentially sacrificing their own comfort and happiness
🧡 ABBA ! BRAVO ! WELCOME BACK, ABBA ! As one from the generation that helped propel ABBA to global superstars, and knew all along they had the ability to maintain that magic even when they didn't believe it themselves, they are back ! And this introduction song deserves PLATINUM status. Thanks, Fabian, for the great reaction. And thank you too for keeping the dream alive from a younger generation. For the love of music - Peace.
The avatar shows are planned to play in a purpose built arena in London from next Summer for the following three or four years. They will be using these concerts to 'test the waters'. If these shows are a success, then they can duplicate the technology and play in any number of suitable venues around the world.
Yeahh.. it's Frida.. please react to their second new song Don't shut me down..with Agnetha on lead vocals.. Both are great fabulous songs in their own rights
Listened to it once, eyes mysterioysly moist, then I found myself humming the tune... that's ABBA. It would have been nice to see them singing as the four artists in their seventies they are.. Stones did it. Ozzy does it. They have aged with dignity. They could do it too. They probably don't want to, though.
I think it's going to be a bit weird doing the shows with the ABBAtars. Live music from a ten piece band, and computer projections of the original members. Prices between £80-£130 per seat for what's essentially going to be the ultimate ABBA Tribute Band! Can't wait to get mine 😁
THE ABBATORS ARE SO CLOSE TO THEM AS HUMANS - ITS SO EERIE ! AS TO THEIR VOICES, THEY ARE THE SAME WITH ADDED MATURITY. THE TILTE "I STILL HAVE FAITH IN YOU" COULD BE A GOSPEL MESSAGE, RIGHT BRO ! THE PERFORMANCE WAS SERIOUSLY AWESOME WITH GREAT , MEANINGFUL LYRICS AND SUCH A NOSTALGIC JOURNEY ALONG THE WAY. IT BOTH BEAUTIFUL AND EMOTIONAL.

They’re doing it as avatars. They’re wired up and so the movements will be them. The “tour” will be limited because they have to have a special wired studio built wherever there will be a performance.
A fantastic song, as are the "flip side" I can tell you. And they´re not gonna be touring next year. They are building a concert hall in London where they will perform all ten songs on the album. They will not perform as holograms but as animation of themselves singing the songs.
Not holograms, Benny said that holograms were old technology and they decided against using it. These are digital avatars created by George Lucas's Industrial Light and Magic.
Yes it's Frida :)) By the way another great ABBA song you are yet to react to is one called I've been waiting for you (live) - ruclips.net/video/gJRxEiAivEA/видео.html And hey I enjoyed your thoughts on everything. Cool to hear as always!
Holograms, or avatars rather, may be unrealistic, but I don't care. I think they're a great idea, I want to remember them as they were, young and beautiful, I don't ever want that magic to grow old. They were part of the soundtrack for some of the best days of my life, when I myself was young and full of joy, healthy and hopeful and energetic, chasing girls and finding a new adventure every day. Makes me sad, and at the same time glad to have lived in such wonderful times.

Ive seen a lot of your ABBA react videos now - I mean isnt it about time for you to call yourself an ABBA fan? :p
You should react to ABBA’s song I’m A Marionette. It’s a great rock song and my top favorite ABBA song along side The Visitors
This sounds like Frida....with Agnetha mixed in.
ABBA was the first band, who released an album on CD and now they are the first band creating a spectecular avatar concert.
Like beatles, done many things first.
Agnetha's voice is bright and very clear - Annifrid's voice is velvety and mellow - keeping this in mind, it's quite easy to distinguish between them.
This is a opener to the Album. They still have the magic.
I love both songs! They are all between 71 and 76 years old. Proud to be a Swede! It's a privilege listening to them. I am getting emotional! Looking forward to November, 5th, when the album will be released! ❤🇸🇪🎶
Samma här 😃
Samma här. En månad kvar nu. Första gången på evigheter jag längtat efter ett album och sen blir det så kul att kolla in alla reactions till låtarna.

ABBA are back. This year is already the best year in my life since their last studio album in 1981.
The lyrics really tell the story of their journey, past, present and future
It is what we all need right now. The world needs to hear hope and to live again. Thank you ABBA for bringing us hope once again.
As a longtime Abba lover this makes me so emotional. I have them back!
This is unbelievable, absolutely astounding and with ILM at the helm it’s going to be amazing. I’m 💯 behind this
the song is a masterpiece
I was too young for ABBA in their heydey but only just ! I started watching your abba reactions about 1 month ago which turned me into a huge fan ! Now they have a comeback …seems surreal - I just wanted to thank you for your passion it really rubs off 👍👍
I love how they were worried about whether they still had it in themselves ...in their 70s. It's obvious all the elements are still there.
Just like we remember them, a lot of strong emotions and memories of good and bad days🥰
They are having a purpose built 3,000 person arena in London. They did 5 weeks of motion capture on songs for the show. Frida has the most wonderful voice, and has had for the past 50 years!!!
Yes, her voice is stunning!!!
I'm 60years old and saw them in Australia! I was like 15 years old😊

Hear Anni-Frid (darkhaired) is the lead with Agnetha coming in now and then on higher parts. Fridas deep mezzosoprano is great here.
"One of us" is just another of their great songs, but "Move on" is an underated classic. It is time.
SO COOL to see your reaction. You are the ABBA King of reactions!
It’s actually them in leotards, some computer effects, but it’s really them. Love this! Like Luke Skywalker coming back on Mandalorian, so awesome!

Hmm. Sounds familiar. Mamma mia all over again and why not? My prediction is that the ABBA members will have some very wealthy grand, grand children:)
DIGITALL AVATARS!! AKA "ABBATARS" OUTSTANDING!! LOVE THIS!! ABBA FOREVER!!💖💖💖💖
Perfect come back. Thank you ABBA!
It is Frida opening the track xx
Wow.

Not holograms, Benny said that holograms were old technology and they decided against using it. These are digital avatars created by George Lucas's Industrial Light and Magic.
If you haven't watched any of the documentaries about them, please do. It fills in a alot of the background.

Yes it's Frida :)) By the way another great ABBA song you are yet to react to is one called I've been waiting for you (live) - ruclips.net/video/gJRxEiAivEA/видео.html
And hey I enjoyed your thoughts on everything. Cool to hear as always!
You must also listen to the other song Don't shut me down.
it is frida. i distinctly remember how her voice sounded. it was more alto than agnetha's. agnetha's voice was more higher
Frida is a mezzo soprano and Anna is a soprano.
@@deborahwhitney9427 aaaah see i did not know that til now. thank you for telling me
You'll like 'Don't shut me down' more upbeat and funky
This song is a ballad and other song is disco.

icon is brushed about too easy now there icons thats for sure
Its avatars not holograms and they've had a stadium built for the shows

That’s definitely Frida
Abbatars...
The most important part..... and you pause it!!!
Like cuttin Gilmour.
They`ve sold more than 400 000 000 records!! Only Elvis, Beatles and Michael Jackson have sold more!!
They would have sold a lot more if they were not so maligned in the US when they first came out.
All their sell would have been out from usa so kept out, follow the money. Pockets.
It's not a hologram it's motion capture.
They’ll probably use holograms on stage though….
This seems slower than my cd of Voyage.
They all already grew old already. Just wanted to give their younger image for the fan to remember. No body can see whats the futuer, if one gone how?
It's anni frid
Avatar
Again, you lost the half of the song with your nervous finger
They're not holograms!!!
Not hologram, Abbatars 😀
Don't shut me down is the other song and much better!!!
Not in my opinion. I Still Have Faith in You is fantastic.
Typical Agnetha fan😒😒
@@tonyalmeida862 Don't tar everyone with the same brush. There are over zealous fans of both ladies.
