You can make your own vanity plates in FS22, so it's not THAT big of a deal. They probably set her up with it, knowing she didn't know much about it yet. Kind gesture, nothing less nothing more.

Same journey here - started with FS19 and some of the channels covering it, but got interested in seeing what it was like in real life, which led me to Laura’s channel! As someone with a very inside job it’s been fascinating and I’ve got so much more respect and interest in all things farm now.
Thank you for showing the Farming game on computer. Great idea for someone interested in Farming or just running that big Red and JD green machine. I ran the simulator at Con Expo In Las Vegas. The manufacturer have really realistic type operations. I watched the CEO of VOLVO destroy himself on there simulator. It was funny. He was a down to Earth type of guy. Very nice. The CRANE ones are really neat. You can add WIND into moving loads, the wind swings the load around. And of course you get the peaky worker walking by you. Unsafe, to see if you clonk him on hard Hat. It was fun playing. But my backhoe is real loss/ sloppy on controls so it's challenging to run the simulator.

One thing to be aware of with farming simulator: Out of all the developers at Giants who make the game, not a single one of them has ever sat foot on a farm or operated any kind of farming equipment. They get CAD data from manufacturers and are told/shown how it's supposed to work, and that means the game has a weird mix where the machines are incredibly detailed and work somewhat realistic, but nothing else is really properly simulated and it does not show what being a farmer is really like. And because it's a game it doesn't support things like no-till farming or CTF, but requires you to do certain operations like ploughing and tilling to get optimal yields, when it wouldn't be necessary in real life. I've spent way too many hours on that game, but there is unfortunately a lot of people who think the game is super realistic, and are then surprised when they see how different real farming is

Howdy! Just found your channel randomly with RUclipss algorithm and now I'm getting all the farming vids haha. Question: I am sure you mentioned it before but I couldn't find anything when searching for it. Have you done a video with Kate's Ag - Farm to Fashion? Actually now that I compare the dates, the fires are about a year apart or so but its cool because it gives you 2 different perspectives, one of you helping and the other of their farm. I used to watch the squad years ago back in the fs15 days. This was interesting to see an fs youtuber doing a collab with a real farming youtube channel ( even though Grant is a real farmer now)

I'm been playing FS since 2009 and waiting like a kid on Christmans to get my copy of FS22. It's just a great simulation game that gets better every year.
My son is soooo into Farming Simulator, seems to be extremely good in making and ajusting mods creating all kinds of cool gadgets and machinery, he also does that for Truck Simulator.
And here I was excited thinking you were going to announce that they were adding the Laura Farms characters, equipment and fields to Farming Simulator 22.

FS is the closest I'll get to farming. Unless I can find a JD170, get a Brinly moldboard plow, cultivator and do up a garden that way
