Yup, Double Axe is crazy strong! Five gem slots means that you can also do ridiculous things with it if you go Runes, too - it might be a little more expensive than the Knuckles version but I think that's the funniest way to play it personally
I go runes, make at least one power glove, hopefully as many as I can, and pick up as many topaz as I can to drop in random spots while shoving every other gem into any open slot while hoping more runes actually drop.
Here's something funny I noticed but haven't tried making a build with. Going Anvil will allow you to make the fire shield that pops off damage for producing block. And Berserker has a crap ton of block producing effects that proc off during battle rage.
@@jbreitz87I tried it but I found maximizing the anvil stars is way more important as that maxes the double axe go wroom without drinking 15 stamina potions a second😂

Really like the update so far. It used to be ivy poison heal every game. But now u can use build like 7 daggers without worrying about ivy too much.
Also hammer only deal 10 DMG whole round. So don’t play hammer all time
Hammer is hit or miss, I keep it in bag if I’m crafting or if I’m not worried about shields/spikes as without shields/spikes it’s free dmg as 0 stam. But have seen quite a few shields in early mid game so forging hammer has actually screwed my stam a few times just from hitting shields
@@pinky797 the Hammer is not really a weapon, it is for crafting, the attack is a bonus to it, but you should be focusing on other weapons, that is why doesn't use Stamina, because as a wrapon it sucks, wish it had a small chance to stun.

Knuckles is such a great item when using goobert lol. 1 slot 1.6sec trigger is nuts!

Played my 1st Double Axe game today and its extremly fun, i used the Shaman Mask to get Luck to patch up my Acc and used Badger Runes for speed. My record was 243.6 DPS
Yeah Double-Axe is crazy my first game on berserker with anvil ended up with 319 dps though this was with 4 fannies 4 dragonscale gloves and 2 corrupted crystals socketed.
I love how we did the exact same thing our first game on the release: double axe, dragon claws hitting axe and wolpertinger, a shit ton of stamina, and brass knuckles for crit/accuracy 😂

thats basically the build ive gone in the first game, except ive chosen the amboss to reduce stamina cost. it was so insane i started using a second axe, cause i couldnt drain my stamina fast enough
I love dagger spam after getting my main weapons on berserker because the faster item activation doesn’t eat up stamina on them
Without having seen the video my guess is to build Double Axe and as many defensive items as possible. That thing really needs some form of cost for it's effect.
I love playing magic wand with chieftan, speed the hell out of it and then crown lategame. Works suprisingly well 😉

I have found a exodia with Ice Dragon, 6x funny pack + 3x gloves (since no stamina usage) and frozen flame looking at Dragon, this thing, took the last 4 rounds in ~5 seconds
and dont use frozen buckler and froz. armor

I like Bullieng Pyros with Chain Whip
D axe with steelgoob and anvil scales much faster and has a better early game. Also you don't have to blow 30 gold on stam potions with anvils stam usage reduction.
I hit diamond in the first 2 hours just by spamming that build
Ooooh you're using steel goob with it? That's sick. Ive been using a heavy dragonscale armor + sun shield set up to good effect
@maxcoto9061 I usually can't fit a scale armor cause I need all the anvil slots filled with boots or gems to get max stam reduction but I always use a Sun shield as goob trigger + the 30% extra armor on goob is nice. 9/10 I dont even drop below 50% anyways so no armor needed 😅

Now I'm curious if with the release of the game you still have the power to make everyone play the builds you recomend. I'll have to wait and see if in two days every berserker I facew goes axe + knuckels
Knuckles and double axe as cheese goobert triggers... then speed, bananas, stam pots and all defense got to me to dia in a breeze
I don't like how the double axe is clearly the strongest weapon for Berserker. It definitely feels like going anything else is a waste of time.
I think its better with the class item shaman because off the random buffs u can get really quick so wolfpertingers are better. and runes can make speed scaling and crit ( i tried it and went 300 dps on the double axe with no stamina problems) but idk its so confuse with all the new stuff lol
Woaw 300 DPS that's crazy man! And I agree shaman seems pretty busted with those runes. And this game especially the anvil looked quite good because on sale and extra damage (not that relevent) but mainly for the less stamina cost x)

I got to see more and more blind (and thorns) the last hours, im pretty happy about the accuracy from knuckles :P
I think I would have swapped the yellow gems and the collar position at 27:17 since the collars are in the barserker bag but doesn't need the speed boost from it.
While the gems backpacked have a speed stat so they would benefit from the berserker bag's speed boost for even more stamina during battle rage !
Yellow gems are passive stam regen now, not on a second-cooldown.

@@yozarahirvi4750 yup, a lot of the gems got changed to one-time effects or passive ones, no longer affected by things like heat, Fanny packs, or gloves

I thought at the first glance that pyromancer was OP but last game I did an animal lover ranger build with eggscalibur, it was really Buster (torquilla , rats and 3 wolpentinger)

Anvil is definitely better than knuckles with the axe. My best setup so far was with 2x dragonscale armor, 2x sun shield and 3x dragonscale gloves.
Between the sun shields and double axe extra attack trigger i was dealing about 100 damage just for entering battle rage.
Anvil is insane with gems and charcoal too. Ends up generating so much money on top of being an incredible weapon buffer.
I thought so too, until the blind started to pop up every other round :D
@@MannIchFindKeinNamethat's fair. I haven't had the time to get high enough to be facing that but have thought it was one, if not the best counters to the double axe.
But even so, I'm dubious that knuckles is actually the answer. It has to hit to get the accuracy boost at only 5% a hit and a good blind set up is going to bombard you early.
@@maxcoto9061 oh jeah, if they get it down very early it really cripples the scaling, but at plat (not yet back to dia :D ), being able to tank it and then fielding a few more collars gets enough attacks in to get accuracy back to working levels :D
otherwise, there are a few ways of getting clovers or cleansing blind, so anvil probably still has its use with the heat over accuracy etc :D

Think of the brass knuckles (fighter subcass) as a clover that attacks and gives luck 30% on hits.
Can you Do your challange again.....we all loved that and with the New Charakters there are so much more possibilities....
They should introduce rainbow baby bow, rainbow bow and rainbow dragon though!

Can you use Stone Skin potions to drop low enough to trigger Rage from the begining?
Maybe with the Greatsword you could start the battle in Rage mode with the potions and then a bunch of collars to mantain the Rage, it is very cheap and Rage is very strong with a bunchbof Dragon Skin items like the armor or the gloves, or even the boots for Empower buff, as Empower counts as +3 with the Gteatsword. I can still see a Stamina problem though...

Some builds are way undertuned. I managed to 4 heart endless the pet berserker build but I was struggling l compared to double axe which just steamrolls everything
Try the deer artifact you take no damage it’s broken
This is great, but it can’t touch the stun build I’ve been running. I went up against someone who was doing 60 per swing but couldn’t get me below max hp because I was perma stunning w vamp daggers

Lol you in bronze thinking like master. You could throw three rounds on a goobert and still win
Ranks were reset. Everyone was Bronze 0. He even got matched up with a couple of backpack battle streamers. So while some rounds were easy wins, some rounds he was up against strong players with legit builds.
@@Lugen101 most* rounds were easy wins. There were maybe three opponents who actually cooked something better than moms spaghetti
