@@ErinBooth Everything is going well, It's my first Job, and to be highly recommended in the first attempt is a really amazing experience for an 18 year old boy, who is learning Ai and Web 3.0. Thanks again ma'am .🩷🩷😊
Hi Erin Booth, I always love to watch and learn from your videos. I just learning and wish to initiate VA biz soon. I expect some suggestions from you. Please let me know the way.
All sorts of people use general admin VAs. Think of a VA like an executive assistant. Lots of different companies in lots of different fields use executive assistants. Almost every business on the planet had admin needs (research, data entry, filing, bookkeeping, order supplies, booking travel, etc etc)
Another helpful informative video :) I have an interest in editing, but I would have to teach myself first - do you know which editing software is preferred by creators, or do you not think that it really matters? I thought it would be good to learn on a commonly used one?
Great questions! I can definitively say that what matters most is finding an editing software that you like (and makes sense to you). I started years ago with iMovie, which is free basic editing. I now use Wondershare Filmora, which was an inexpensive, one-time purchase.
Hi Erin!! I noticed some of your older videos redirect to Udemy and that site has quite a few different courses that you’re the creator of. While this video has a link for a singular course/VA Academy. Is the same information offered on both sites? Also, which would you say is the most comprehensive and relevant for starting a new career as a VA in 2023. Any recommendations are very appreciated.
Great question! The VA academy does have some overlapping info with certain Udemy courses. The main benefit to the VA academy is that it’s an orderly, comprehensive format, that walks you through basics like establishing your business to most popular tasks asked of VAs. Hope that helps.
Erin, thank you for this video. I want to Niche down in ecommerce such as shopify product listing but I need to learn. Could you recommend a good person because I want to invest in myself this year.
That sounds awesome! Unfortunately I do not know of any Shopify or Ecom people off the top of my head. I recommend searching for great people on RUclips! Good luck!
I am having such a hard time finding the right target market for my VA Admin business. Do you have any resources or help finding the right target market or client?
Hi Erin I was a virtual assistant when the industry first started but retired 5 years ago. I have now moved countries and thjnking of starting again so would welcome any advice or thoughts. Thanks Laura
There’s never been a better time to jump back in! If you already have the basics down, you’re good to go. Morning vas drastically changed over the years.
is there any limitation of age in starting this VA career? I have experience as customer service, executive assistant, and office manager, and would love to start to work remotely instead of WFO

Hi Erin! Thank you for your videos. Admin VA seems broad, what kind of client from what field would be ideal for an admin VA.

I DO! www.udemy.com/course/find-your-first-virtual-assistant-clients/
Do you have a sample portfolio especially for beginners, they always ask for it and we don't know what an appropriate one looks like
