Some thoughts after watching the first few episodes: - Yu Wenwen is so multitalented! She's pretty famous as a singer-songwriter and musician but I had no idea that she was such an amazing actress too. Her acting is way better and more natural than most other rookie actresses that tend to star in these types of low budget dramas. Hope to see more of her in the future. - I don't know why they chose this guy to be the lead actor. The other guys in this drama are far more charismatic, and better-looking too. He looks dumb as a brick. - The VFX and action choreography are cringe-level horrible, especially for a wuxia drama. C-dramas in general are known for their bad CGI, but this is even worse. They've been in post-production since 2017, so you'd think they had time to do a better job. - The story is very interesting so far. Definitely worth a watch despite being obviously low budget. - As I said before, this was filmed in 2017, which makes it Wang Zhuocheng's first drama, before The Untamed.

OMG!! Little Wei Ying....I recognize it directly...I saw the support role is Marius Wang ( Jiang Cheng from the Untamed..why doesn't he get the Main role instead?) This drama gives a vibe of Return of COndor Heroes...The master and disciple relationship. Seriously..his master can be his mom instead...she is too much older than him. I don't mind age gap if they meet as adult like Legend of Fei..but they meet since he was a little boy...it gives me a pedo vibe..Idk if I can stand watching this till the end...cos the Fl looks too much older too ...It's ok if she is older in age..but still look at least young like Zhao Liying.
