Aww i got sad a little because Doh Kyungsoo is a legend on his own, he just didn’t have much opportunity to go and promote his songs and do singing promotion because of his previous company. But he is a STAR AND LEGEND on his own, he is really famous as a main vocalist of EXO. And if you know EXO you know they have the best vocalist in KPOP. Kyungsoo being the main vocalist of the group says a lot about that. 🙏🏻

hi thank you for your reaction! It must mean so much that IU declared Kyungsoo (DO) is one of her favorite musician at the very start of the show. A lot of Kyungsoo fans are waiting for this collab and went nuts the first time it was announced that he would be guesting at palette. Kyungsoo has more body of work as a member of EXO but more as an actor too. He's just started off his solo singing career and a lot are feeling robbed off all those years with his former agency gatekeeping his vocal skills in the basement. But here we are and we are really really happy. Kyungsoo is considered by some as one of the best male vocalists in kpop his voice has this rich full quality. You can also check his very short duet with Suhyun of AKMU Rewrite the Stars that went viral last year. It was just the chorus part but people went bonkers for it. Yes pls do the Lee Mujin, he sang 3 songs and a duet. in between those, he sang 2 snippets of opening verses one is IU's Through The Night. He also sang his audition song to be an ido. all of those numbers are worth the watch. He also just recently did sing a duet with Zico (rapper) and he sang the part of Jennie (Blackpink) also good feedback. (sorry for the influx of info). The number of times I've read comments on Kyungsoo's viral performances e.g Rewrite The Stars and see non fans say he's the best vocalist in Kpop and yet some exo-ls are saying "This is only Kyungsoo", "Kyungsoo's the 3rd best vocalist in EXO". And instead of praising Kyungsoo's performance, will tell new fans to listen to other members. And yes, I can't bear watching EXO's KV again as all of Kyungsoo's killing parts were cut out. Because the comment of these reactors seem like DO is way lower than IU. The comments are not about IU being a huge star. It is about their statement that is borderline disrespectful to DO who is critically acclaimed actor and singer. No offense, but why are some ppl here salty with their comments, making it seem like IU was fawning over him. Is it such a bad thing if D.O was “starstruck” seeing IU? Not saying he was, but she’s not just any random singer. Not sure how young some people in the comment section are, but this is mf IU.. the creator of PAK, the artist with the most number of PAKS and the most #1 songs in Korea. The legendary IU of Korea. D.O. is a great artist in his own right & extremely talented, but pls have some respect when speaking on IU. Some of these comments are such a turn off to read for IU fans.

Because the comment of these reactors seem like DO is way lower than IU. The comments are not about IU being a huge star. It is about their statement that is borderline disrespectful to DO who is critically acclaimed actor and singer. If you follow both singers and not just IU, you would also raise your eyebrow hearing their statement.
Well I don't know about the fawning part and I'm not denying IU is a great artist. But the thing is, IU is not just a fan of Kyungsoo's for the music in itself , in her own words she said That's Okay gave her a lot of comfort and she was able to cry to a song for the first time since she was a rookie. Which is no small thing, and Kyungsoo's frequent wish, being able to give comfort to someone with his songs. So he's not just any random singer guesting on her program either
I doubt it that D.O was starstruck, he is humble tho, if you don't know D.O and IU are both known and legendary in the acting industry and also musically. Actually, it was IU who is vocal that she is a fan of him and in this show she said she heard that D.O has a comeback so she filmed palette with him, she was not supposed to film palette for a while because of her busy schedule lately but she did for D.O.
