I drove a taxi for 6 years in the DC area and learned that I loathe drunks and prefer the company of animals. What drunks have in common is a sense that the fact that they're drunk gives them license to do unto others. If given limitations/consequences, they become morally outraged.
As a father and grandfather, I thought the exact same thing about both generations and myself at three. Not a legal adult like these self entitled immature folks.
“It should be MY CHOICE to live like this, and you guys shouldn’t take it upon yourselves to do anything about it.” Seriously; WHERE does this thought process come from? WTF?

Straight out addiction. I knew a guy that would drink all day, and believed he would get a woman who would fix all his problems and if she truly loved him she would not mess with his drinking. It's addiction. I am an addict and held the same attitude when I was in active addiction. I thought the drugs messed with me only, I didn't see what it did to every one else, so I reasoned that no one had a right to mess with what made me feel better. People should step in when you see your loved ones in active addiction. Because as much as they say they are happy, they are not. The addiction makes you believe as long as you are high or drunk you are happy. It's a lie. I was never happy sleeping in my car. Going days with out food, not seeing my kids and not one person giving me a job because they could look at me and see what I was. Getting clean was the only way that I seen what addiction really is.
"Do you know why you're in here?" "No, I don't remember anything at all." "So you're in here for two counts of assault on an officer and one for assault on a caregiver." "OK then! :)" So a liar as well as a habitual violent drunk.
Admitting to anything, especially post Miranda Rights being read, isn’t smart. However, saying you don’t remember anything is likely to come back and bite you as well. Hope she gets herself together or she has a long and tough road head of her and will cause chaos for those around her.
She's 19 and "SO SMART!" but yet isn't smart enough to: 1) control her drinking, 2) date someone who isn't going to encourage her bad behaviors; and 3) know that repeating the word 'Like" as if it's a mantra is really, REALLY f*cking irritating!
You obviously have never been incredibly intoxicated. This is what led to my sobriety. I know individuals who never gave it up and these experiences led to many sad situations. I've seen em get angry. Strip their cloths and be found by strangers. All things they'd have never done sober. It absolutely happens. You get to having fun and drink alittle to much and bam...you aren't in control anymore.
Poor thing. She put on her cutest little halter top, did her hair, got all liquored up and usually that gets her what she wants with all the other drunken fools. However, once her boyfriend started puffing himself up with the police and got himself arrested, she decided that she would have to rush to his defence and this put her in jail. Just another day in the life of an alcohol abuser. "Stay thirsty my friend!"
I've noticed the comments when a woman is charged with DV telling her to leave the abusive relationship, hoping she gets better and so on are suddenly nowhere to be found for a man in the same situation.
"Honestly, like" these are the consequences of your antisocial behaviors. Let this be a lesson to others who think there are no consequences to drugging and drinking.
