Two that have worked for me: "Excuse me. Where's your bathroom?" "Oh, thank you! You are a god send!", and "Excuse me; Um a little acquired, but I need to get to the other side of this locked door. Could you..?" and sheepishly/ ashamedly point at the door. "Oh, thank you so much."
@@duskyrc1373 @RightToArms I remember being seen in other areas which had set up familiarity with the person that got the door. It ended up being storage, so no loss to them and no real gain to me; Other than a continued/ strengthened soft familiarity.

Odd that as soon as I pulled out my vorax pick set and a kwickset electronic lock to play with, I get a notification for this. Lol. Humans for me seem to be the easiest targets. Play the role, and typically due to the nature of people, if you do it well enough, you can get almost unlimited access to wherever you want to go. Hope you and everyone else is staying safe. Take care.
This was great! Thank you. I had to hike a golf course to do my P.I. job, should have tried this lol. One pretext that did work for me was a huge/expensive housing complex w/ gate guards. I drove up with a polo shirt/sun glasses all chipper and said I was here to play golf with my Grandpa. The guard asked his name so I just made one up. He looked through the list, looked confused and then just clicked me in. Ah complacency ☺
Apartment building: press a few buttons at the main entrance - start talking, make up some name, someone will buzz you in - or wait for someone coming out, and 'OK, I'm coming up now', looking at the buzzer-panel.
Maybe if you stand in front of the gate, car keys in one hand, looking lost, maybe a phone in the other, I would imagine that you had locked yourself out somehow and obviously your clicker or badge is in your car so I would probably buzz you in. A little sus if you walk right by the lot after that but maybe worth it.
An arm load of file folders and cup of coffee has gotten me through more locked doors then picks.

The first one I can kinda see working. But how the heck did the second?
...what?

Humans generally want to help others, it gives them a feel good moment, this is easily exploited, thanks for this video, cheers
