One of the things I love about you two is the way that you describe even the foods you don’t enjoy in a mostly positive manner…”If this would have been crispier….” You two are just a joy to watch!
Thanks so much for showing the buffet prices & times AND for telling us what time you arrived. This really helps when planning a stop so far down the strip.
More than a few dishes needed to be filled, and the buffet counters needed a good cleaning. But a huge selection of items, some dishes looked good....Enjoy Bill and Lisa...🍽🍷🍮
We ate at the South Point last year, and it was unbelievable! For $17.95 we got a full Prime Rib dinner, with baked potato, rolls and butter, salad and desert...and it was excellent! We paid over $150 for a similar meal at a restaurant in downtown Vegas.
How did the taste compare??? Ambiance??? Background noise???? There are more things to factor in than price. The cheapest place to eat is your own kitchen. And you control the salt, starch, etc.
I love this buffet! It's my favorite! . I live here in Las Vegas, and I have been in just about every place on the strip. All the food choices I think are really good on this menu. For 26 dollars this is an incredible value! This is what Vegas used to be like before everything became totally overpriced, and they got rid of most of the buffets. . They don't charge for parking yet either! I hope this never goes away. It is by far the best food value on the strip ! You guys are my favorite food reviewers on RUclips!
@robertmiller5789 since it's your favourite, how's the breakfast buffet there? Visiting next month for the first time since 2012 and I know lots has changed in Vegas since then. Going to check out Carson Kitchen and Esther's in the Art District during my stay
@@shampoo7 I really like it. It has all your basics. I always get the fresh omelette . There are pancakes and waffles freshly made as well . All the meats you would traditionally enjoy. Fresh juices. Coffee and tea. It's only 14 dollars with a free players card you get instantly when you sign up. There is no charge for parking either. Personally, I am not into these " experience meals " that are in so many places , that they charge so much for here, and many times aren't worth the price. . Everything is really good there, and for the price there is no way you can beat this. You will spend this amount easily, at least, in any hotel for a breakfast, without the all you can eat option of this You could have a big breakfast here with all you can eat, skip lunch because you will be so full , and then eat again for dinner for an " experience " 😃
We were there last week. Now I know why I missed the flan, which I really like. After having food in Italy, nothing compares.❤ good to see you back in vegas❤❤
Hello Bill and Lisa I am one of those people that is not a big fish eater and so that buffet looked delicious to me. Thanks for sharing this. The price is right too. Take care guys.
Hi Lisa & Bill...I was there in March, and the food was just awful, plate after plate. Glad you had a better experience. I've been going there for years and it was the worst food. Never again lol. I rather have all that great food you had in Italy hehe❤
That buffet reminded me of the movie, Vegas Vacation. "I'll have some of the yellow. Now don't get stingy on me!" Bill, you were overly kind as far as giving this buffet a passing grade. I wouldn't go there if it was comped. I do enjoy your videos though.
For $25, the food choices seem more than many other places offer. The Oso Buco got me! Shrimp cocktail station looked interesting, too. Thanks. I will certainly give it a try. Other Bill
Oh my gosh, after watching you eat in Italy, this was just a tiny bit sad. But I love whatever you guys do, so keep up the great work. You are freaking adorable!
Especially after you enjoyed Milan and Florence, the “Italian” section at this buffet seems like a joke. Also, there is a reason why you didn’t see chicken parmesan in Italy: it isn’t Italian; it’s an Italian-American invention. Traditional Italian is eggplant parmesan. It became chicken parmesan in America because meat was cheaper and a lot more available here than in Italy.
Oh Bill, what an optimist! Garlic bread: fail, pizza: fail....maybe the chicken parm will be good....? And even though it was soggy, you still tried to find redeeming qualities - what a sweetheart :-) Lisa, I could live with you in soupland all day long, girl!!!!
They have AYCE PRIME RIB and you people are grubbing on meat loaf, boxed mashed potatoes and DRY turkey and mushy boxes dressing? Thats GOLDEN CORRAL crap...
That's because it's cheap ingredients prepared with indifference. If they could, they would dump the "food" in a trough and watch value shoppers crowd around it.
Our favourite buffet in Vegas was always the M. Since they closed that we’ve been looking for a reasonable priced buffet to replace it. Will try this one trip I think.
@Bill & Lisa's Food and Travel I miss them too! There's talk of a knock off Souplantation type buffet opening in San Diego this summer. I'll keep you updated 😃
Hi guys, I just subscribed to your channel, first I love how honest you are when dining out. most people say the place they go too is good but you guys say how you both liked it. have you ever been to Baltimore, maryland. we have some great restuarants and buffets let me know
Hey guys!!! So thankful for your recommendations! My husband and I love trying new places you highlight and we smile as we say we know why they are, “Bill and Lisa approved”. We just traveled to Tahiti and think you guys should go! Delta (Air France) flies direct from LAX. From PPT take the ferry to Moorea…it’s a slice of heaven.
Every August the Military bowling tournament is handled at South Point. There is a group of us that enjoy the Garden Buffet. Wide selection to choose from for our group. Friday night is the best 😋. crab night I stood for 2 hrs starting at 2:00 o'clock to reserve a spot in line for our group. Worth the wait. Great food 😋
Glad you got to try more Gelato. I think everyone who goes to Italy has to have Gelato in every city they visit. Where did you have the best one? Vegas is on my list for this year and thanks to you, we have so many places to try for the first time.
Yup, our new go-to buffet that is not outrageous in price and still offers Prime Rib! All the Station buffets went bye-bye and we can't bring ourselves to pay at Bellagio or Baccanal and those like them, even though your video reviews are great! They also don't charge for parking (yet). We heard that the Tropicana might be the new home of a sports stadium in the near future, there goes free parking! Thanks for visiting our home away from home!
Only gripe is the Prime Rib quality can be a hit or miss, even if you got it Medium Rare. Ive had it from tender and juicy to somewhat dry and tough. Thanks for watching, Marc! =)
I went to the Garden Buffet a few times well before the pandemic. It looks like it's really fallen off. Many of the casinos didn't bother to bring buffets back post pandemic and it seems like the majority of those who did bring them back just don't give them the attention that they once did.
Wow I haven't even seen all of your trip to Italy yet and here you are back in Vegas. That was a fast trip!!! Loved Italy and this video gives us great information about this buffet!!! Always wanted to try, great price for what it is!!! Great video welcome back to U.S. Aloha!!!
Mmmmm my gosh everything looks so delicious. OMG. Fish & Chips, yesssss. Potatoes and gravy, taco bar, the sweets. The fresh fruit..OMG. Can’t wait to get there in August. Love you guys!!!
Bill & Lisa , there are 3 good grades of meat , on a buffet for $26.00 if it is truly prime grade it is a great deal , if choice grade a very good deal,if select grade it is an ok deal, but most of the food looks great, I agree on the wasabi color, looks more like pureed' split pea soup color lol, I eat very little sides if I go to a buffet serving a good meat or seafood, looks like a good variety of items & seemed you had a good time
They have AYCE PRIME RIB and you people are grubbing on meat loaf, boxed mashed potatoes and DRY turkey and mushy boxes dressing? Thats GOLDEN CORRAL crap...
Hi guys, omg I saw how you tried to make the food you tried taste good lol , Bill was trying so hard lol maybe hopefully from the video the Garden buffet would of got the clue , however with the price , they did serve a lot of different foods, and like with all buffets you find your favorite dish and consume all you can eat , how ever I would pay 25.00+ for a better meal , thank you for always making it real👍
Hi guys me and my wife we were there at south point back in February we enjoyed lunch buffet it was good and the next morning we had breakfast at the cafe it was good and affordable and they also they have good deals on food specials from 12 midnight till 6am steak and eggs for a good price I enjoy watching u guys live streams u guys do a good job thank u
Lisa and Bill me and my wife will b in Vegas in July hope to meet u guys if u guys r in Vegas will b there for my bday on the 22nd hope to c u guys bsafe
How funny. I'm staying next door to the Sputhpoint this week. Had the breakfast buffet one day but not the dinner buffet. Maybe I'll try the Friday dinner tomorrow
This affordable buffet might be good for the average local looking for a good value for an everyday meal, however if I was on vacation in Vegas and I stopped here thinking I was getting a good deal, I would have been extremely disappointed with the quality of the food and disappointed with myself for not having watched an experience video like this, and paying more for a better experience.
Another great video!! Its las vegas !!! 🎰 i love going to south point for the $4.00 movies!!! The buffet looked good but of course i cant eat that much for the money😂 you guys make my day better !!!😊 the desserts are the best part of any meal 😂 cant wait for your next adventure 😋
Pre-Covid, I always traveled to Vegas via Boyd's Vacations Hawaii. Always heard good things about South Point's buffet but never went. Perhaps on my next trip. Just be honest with us
i think their fish night might be a better eat. lots of these food items looked sad and tired.
Our favourite place to eat and stay. Great hotel , staff and perfect location. Rooms are excellent.
Thank both of you!
Excellent video. Best buffet for the money. I like their prime rib the way it was as sliced.
We ate at the South Point last year, and it was unbelievable! For $17.95 we got a full Prime Rib dinner, with baked potato, rolls and butter, salad and desert...and it was excellent! We paid over $150 for a similar meal at a restaurant in downtown Vegas.

Looks like the food quality is pretty poor. For $30 I don't think its worth it.
I love you guys videos and I love how you explain every detail. Thank you.
Our pleasure!
ty for sharing looked good glad yur back in vegas
We were there last week. Now I know why I missed the flan, which I really like.
After having food in Italy, nothing compares.❤ good to see you back in vegas❤❤
The buffet looks great. Not really expensive. It has a lot of selection. Thanks for sharing that. Stay safe.

Hi Bill and Lisa. I enjoyed your review of South Point Buffet. The food looked tasty. Thanks for sharing and see you on the next video. 🍲🍰❤
THANKS FOR SHARING YOUR HONEST OPINION ABOUT THE FOOD. KEEP UP THE AWESOME JOB 👍🏼😁
I love the buffet at South Point. The soup selection is wonderful. Thanks for the review! 💕🌺
When the buffet items are subpar, go for the Mongolian grill, usually pretty good when freshly cooked
That Mongolian grill array of choices was soooo average to sub par!!
For $25, the food choices seem more than many other places offer. The Oso Buco got me! Shrimp cocktail station looked interesting, too. Thanks. I will certainly give it a try.
Other Bill
Thanks for sharing.Hope yo had a Happy Mother’s Day.🙏🏽❤️👼🏾💥✨💐💐
The soup and salad bar looked like it would be the best option!
Great video guys. We did not see a lot of these items when we went. This looked way better than our day which was the same day of the week.
Mahalo for the shout out!! Welcome back from italy!
You're very welcome! Thanks!
Oh my gosh, after watching you eat in Italy, this was just a tiny bit sad. But I love whatever you guys do, so keep up the great work. You are freaking adorable!

Wow this buffet offers lots of options for a decent price compared to other buffets. Thanks for sharing!! Have a great rest of the week 🤗🤗
Haha, as soon as you bit the bread, I could see the solid white center, lol. Dry all the way through, lol
You know us well, Erin! lol
Love your honesty about your meal! Thank you😃
Thanks for the great buffet review Lisa and Bill. For some reason I am almost always disappointed in buffet food.
They have AYCE PRIME RIB and you people are grubbing on meat loaf, boxed mashed potatoes and DRY turkey and mushy boxes dressing? Thats GOLDEN CORRAL crap...
That's what I was thinking ...but I wasn't there s
That's because it's cheap ingredients prepared with indifference.
If they could, they would dump the "food" in a trough and watch value shoppers crowd around it.
I love that you show all the food
You are beautiful people. God bless you both.
Looks like a good value to me...and the South Pointe is a nice casino! Thanks!
Bill seems piss offed that the prime ribs was way overcooked... and Lisa as always- oversells ...love you guys
Dude ruined his own prime rib. It was perfectly cooked wjem guy sliced it and he demanded it be cooked more...
@@steveludwig4200yea he did
Comfort food is the way to go. It all looks so good and the price is not too bad at all.
Agreed, for the price point, it's a good buffet and does the job.
Seafood night is great at South Point. But definitely try The Silverado Restaurant.
We love staying & eating at South Point!
Our favourite buffet in Vegas was always the M. Since they closed that we’ve been looking for a reasonable priced buffet to replace it. Will try this one trip I think.
Agree with you! I also liked Paris, Paris buffet.....and the ambiance and French background music made it a delight
That Buffet had soooo much food, or else I was just hungry. I saw so much food I wanted to try. Thanks Bill & Lisa, Melaney from SoCal
Love the video. Keep up the good work.
please
try the prime rib restaurant up stairs
Great video...surprised to see so many new dishes added to their menu for the price...glad you enjoyed your dinner...safe travels and God Bless 😘🤗💕
Great vlog! I definitely would visit because they have lots of comfort foods. Kind of reminded me of a souplantation with extras 😊
We miss Souplantation! Sad to see them go. 🙁
@Bill & Lisa's Food and Travel I miss them too! There's talk of a knock off Souplantation type buffet opening in San Diego this summer. I'll keep you updated 😃

Welcome to our channel, Sarah! Thank you so much. No, we haven’t been to Baltimore yet.
We ate lunch there a couple of weeks ago. It was okay. Like with most buffets, the food tends to be overcooked.
Hey guys!!!

Oakland AS baseball team will be moving to Vegas.
Now that’s 3hat I call an awesome buffet 😍 I love buffets that offer different variety of cuisines, everything looked delicious
We like variety too. Thanks Angie.
Char on prime rib is the best. I've already made too many comments on this, lol. Great video. Bill knows how to eat meatloaf.

The fish, oso boco bone marrow n prime rib alone is worth it for me @South Point Buffet.❤Looks delicious!🥰Enjoyed it.😍

Ok no weekday buffet - definitely gonna try the seafood buffet instead. Thanks for the update!!
Great video.
looks like they have a pretty good selection
My fav place to eat for lunch or brunch

0:27 Dude didn't want to be on RUclips.
I used to like buffets
Do you guys ever do meet and greets in Las Vegas?!
Not yet, maybe one day.
Do they still have the oyster bar.. I remember having a lobster grilled cheese and clam chowder yum..
Yes, still there. Haven't tried them yet.
Taking ur life in ur hands eating oysters there
It looks a lot better than when I was there a few months ago. I'd love to try the meatloaf. Big soup selection. I love soup.
Meatloaf was decent, but not sure if it's offered daily. Lots of soup for sure. lol
Hi yo ! Hey guys u have to do the garden buffet at mainstreet station again ah i miss that place 😊 thanks for everything
We recently went 2 months ago for the breakfast buffet. Check it out here.. ruclips.net/video/KfAsLhY_67Q/видео.html

Pre-Covid, I always traveled to Vegas via Boyd's Vacations Hawaii. Always heard good things about South Point's buffet but never went. Perhaps on my next trip.
Went to Vegas shortly after they opened up; it wasn't the same so I have yet to return. I'll wait till things get back more to normal. Saving a lot of money though!!
Hi Harvey. It's about as 'normal' as it's going to get. Saving money is good though! lol
@@billandlisa I guess I have to get used to the "New Normal". I'll get over it!
Is this a Boyd property?
No, it has it's own reward program.

This was last week, drive safe guys!
You shouldn't be afraid to give an okay review if the food was not up to standard.
😲 I also only add onions when I eat menudo 😋😋😋
Reminds me of the old hometown buffet but with prime rib
