I am sorry for this but we, as tourists, we feel the strong italian presence there... Bust I think the place is equally german ... if you know what I mean :)
It was part of Venetian Republic and later part of Italy. Since the end of WWII the region belongs to Yugoslavia and now to Croatia. There live many of italians and everyone speaks italian. So you are right :)
Hvala vam puno na vašem komentaru! Posjetio sam i Vodnjan koji je blizu Pule. No, Rovinj je za nas poseban - naš broj 1 - ne samo u Istri nego u cijeloj Hrvatskoj.
Great video! One of my favourite places in the world. I love the way you take the time to pause and let us see all of the exquisite detail, rather than just walking through quickly. Can I ask when this video was taken?
Hi! I have a random question! My boyfriend and I were in Rovinj 2 years ago, where we bought matching bracelets on a stand right above the Balota beach. We just started dating then so it holds a lot of sentimental value for both of us, and we never take them off. However, mine broke unfortunately. I’ve been trying to figure out if there’s still this stand there or find any photos of it so I could potentially contant him, and it seems like it might be in your video (26:15, the white stand in the upper left corner), but it’s from pretty far so it’s hard to tell. Do you by any chance have any photos of this spot where you could see the stand? I know it’s a long shot but I’m giving it a go. Any help is appreciated 😊
Hi, unfortunatelly I don't have photos from that part of Rovinj. I was only filming there :( But there is a restaurant, maybe they have a pin on google maps. Then you can try to contact them ( I mean the people who own the restaurant ) and maybe they can give you more details, maybe a phone number.

Great! And I recommend visiting the Istrian hilltop towns and, if you have time and a car you can plan a visit to Piran in Slovenia.

Hello, thanks for the appreciations :) Rovinj has a lot of charm . This video was taken one year ago. Same period - end of August.
