Not often you get an artist who can explain the technical aspects of their music and who is also willing to share it. KT is the best. Just saw her in NYC and she rocked the Bowery Ballroom. Can tell she loves music and loves performing and loves her fans. Real talent.
Incredable teacher, performer, artist. WOW....I admire you for sharing with us the things that took you a lot of hard work to learn. You are an inspiration!
🎶Bo Diddley-beat! Gotta catch 'em! All those blues-beats. You know it's rock-destiny!!! Bo Diddley-beat! Ohhh, you're my best friend! It's the groove to which we jaaaaam!🎶 🕺🏽
KT is such a showman. Very humble and funny. It doesn’t bother me if she swears. I love that she showed the chords because I knew she played open string chords and I wanted to see her chord structure. This has opened a whole new world for me.
This must be quite unique. Normally artists and their representatives spend all their time trying to stop people on You Tube performing their music. Full marks KT.
THANK you. I will be singing learning song for our 4pc gigging band, thanks for explaining this ....I know this will be a hit with audiences. You are a super talented gifted lady. thanks
hah yeah i think alot of people are the same, i heard this song a few times and loved it then i saw her play ... i hadn't realized she was doing everything. I've always had a respect for people who can play and sing and maintain themselves on stage, but she plays the tamborine at the same time ... she prolly could have done anything and been successful but i'm glad she chose music. I love this woman lol.
This was such a great video and looked like so much fun that I went out and found and bought the pedal! Can't wait to mess around with it. Thank you KT... #inspired
KD...you are AMAZING, talented and an inspiration. I'm playing the American Indian flute and wanted to try looping. So...after watching your video, I will! Thanks! Bob
Thanks to my 'rents listening to my constant Tunstall talk, something went in and I got an E2 for Christmas!!! Hell yeah! Now to set up and practice, aw yeah!!!
your an inspiration to many people out here KT...YOU ROCK!!! :):):) And you know how to teach and isnt worry about teaching ur secrets on ur amazing talent!! Awesome---God Bless and Much Love from Leana' :)
I play through to the first chorus of this in a medley. Followed by "Crazy" and then "Every Little Thing is Gonna be alright"... I need a damn looper!! lol. See you at the Keswick!
bonjour, je n'aime pas trop ce style mais il évident que vous avez un talent et que vous etes réellement généreuse de partager votre expérience. je vous salue de la france, bonne continuation. thanks so much you're so great, if you come in france i would like really met you!
@MsLuLumusic sweet as a nut! i learnt it with my loop pedal too! i borrowed the akai 2 from college to see what it was like... and i picked it up quick so bought the urmm boss rc-30 i think :)
Shes the only one ive seen do this for fans. What a classy lady! Im having trouble muting the 5 strings during the intro. I keep ringing out harmonics. Any suggestions? Im playing a Taylor GS mini.
What is an E2??Is it the loop pedal she is using... (the blue one on the floors).? Want to do this song with the band I'm with but they don't sing harmony and HAVE to have the WOO HOOs to make this song work. Fantastic teacher KT is...I'm from Canada and hadn't heard of her before this song....WOW.
if you don't mute yu guitar then you can get feedback from that. I find that you need a lot of mic volume to catch the tamba etc so i use a di box to link the mic direct to the desk and a link to the loop so i have a good vocal volume on the pa and just turn it up on the loop station as i need it. you can also try to put your speakers in front of the mic to stop the sound banging straight back in the mic. Hope this helps. I am by far no sound engineer it's just try it and see for me.Take care.
When an artist takes the time to provide a tutorial for their own song...MAN, is that class! Been a fan for a long time. Pure class, I'll tell you!

Incredable teacher, performer, artist. WOW....I admire you for sharing with us the things that took you a lot of hard work to learn. You are an inspiration!

Bo Diddley-beat! Ohhh, you're my best friend! It's the groove to which we jaaaaam!🎶 🕺🏽
Thank-you KT! Especially for the chord diagrams....these to me are by far the most "grasp-able" way to explain how a chord progression goes.
KT is such a showman. Very humble and funny. It doesn’t bother me if she swears. I love that she showed the chords because I knew she played open string chords and I wanted to see her chord structure. This has opened a whole new world for me.
