  • After a century of fishing in Alaska, Tordendskjold has joined the fleet of historic workboats at the NW Seaport Maritime Heritage Center. This video, created by students at the Art Institute of Seattle, tells her story.

    Amazing ship, love the touch of flying the Norwegian flag aswell to show homage to the heritage. But Captain Tordenskjold was Norwegian not Danish. Yes he served in the Danish-Norwegian navy because the countries where in union at that time.

    I worked a dock in Seward and we used to unload this boat, I remember that hold.

    J'ai fait 9 voyages de recherche à son bord pour l' IPHC dans sa configuration de chalutier pour une durée totale de 123 jours. (J'ai tout cela dans un petit calepin)
