radiohead manually striked my essay on subterranean homesick alien and now its blocked worldwide. thanks i guess, sorry the series had to go out like that. it's not safe for creators to make this kind of content anymore on youtube.
Damn
Nooooo, these were awesome.
I really wanted to watch the rest of the series :c
damn that sucks
trying to find a reupload is how i found this vid
I wish you finished the rest of the video essays.
Pop Culture Collecting ok boomer
@IV lol why is he a boomer
@@iv7671 haha nice one. Epic!!1!!!
I feel like neither once you watch the rest of the episodes you’ll understand or neither I was high when I commented that cuz honestly I don’t have no fucking clue
Jake Wheldon i don’t know anymore
I didn't think I could love Schlatt more
I was wrong
It's real shame he stopped at Homesick Alien. I'm a long time fan and I loved this series.
Same
@@Davrie the video analysis for homesick alien got manually copyright by radiohead, so that's probably the reason.
same :'))))) I'm so happy I found this
fr I've just been searching through all his old videos. he's got at least one on every topic I like
I had no clue my favorite RUclipsr liked the same music I do, and its awesome
Dude I know
fun fact pewdiepie likes radiohead too
oh please please....keep doing these videos..dont ever think of stopping ...
Lol..
@Karolina LARBEY Aged well for a little while
Man.
I mean he didn't stop
This series has been a huge inspiration for me, I'm trying capture the same type of magic in my own series inspired by this but for KID A, if anyone sees this, I'd love to know what you think :)
Well I thought it was quite spiffing
@@KomikSanz it was indead spiffing
Truly OK that some "computer" would do this horrible thing
cmon
I've just recently listened to Radiohead, best decision I've made. I hope Schlatt could continue this series on his off-times.
Damn the 3 vids we got from this are pure gold.
Who would have thought the same man producing Ok Computer Essays would be behind "Fragrance Man" on a minecraft server forcing Philza to smell a piece of glass. It's funny how life is.
So apparently, I already watched his series of video essays on radiohead. Never thought I already knew "Schlatt" even before I knew him.
Hey Schlatt, 'Exit Music (For a Film)' appeared in the Black Mirror episode 'Shut Up and Dance'. Its an amazing episode and a highly recommended watch and Exit Music at the end made it even better :)
oh you actually made a video on it lmao, approved
Fun fact: the OK Conputer intersection has been confirmed to be I-84 and I-91 in CT.
schlatt should make more of these, they're pretty cool. like funny mic man + good music commentary, couldn't ask for anything better
jschlatt, I first came about your channel upon first hearing your schlatt coin business but soon realized your content was something different from everyone else on SMPLive, I watched a ton of you videos and laughed throughout all of them, but today I found something different, this video in my recommended. I have always been a Radiohead fan since I first downloaded it off my parents i-Tunes account, my dad always told me that when I'm old enough, I'd fall in love with this album the same way he did, and he was right! today has got to be one of my happiest days seeing my new favorite content creator make a series on my favorite album. If you're reading this Schlatt, I'd love to see you complete your series. You could share this with your new fans like me!
Jonah Louque honestly same! I love this series so far! Wish he could have finished it though :/! I got into Radiohead a year and a half ago and honestly OK computer became my favorite album of all time after a couple of listens! Radiohead is one of the most important bands of this decade maybe even all time
George's Biscuits agreed, they were The Beatles of the 90’s - 2000’s
the fact that jschaltt makes music videos is crazy to me
I heard Paranoid android on probably the car radio. I didn't go back to the song or relisten to it but it sort of struck me and i still remember the opening to that song and the name. I'm now coming back to it since i found these videos. I can't believe this is the same guy 12 year old stans cry over.
please for the love of god pick this up again (given the recent leaks it even makes it timely!) i really liked your analyses and i'd love to hear more

Ah, thank you. I have been in love with radiohead for years, despite the fact that this album is older than me. (Just a little)
I've heard a few songs by Radiohead in the past and liked them alright, but never really got into them that much. Then on my birthday a couple months ago I was scrolling through RUclips and found a video of Pyramid Song but slowed down. It sounded pretty cool so I decided to look up the original song and I absolutely fell in love with it. I started listening to a couple more Radiohead songs now and then and just recently decided to listen to the entirety of Ok Computer. I was amazed by how good the album was and how much I relate to it. The album has always been in my periphery the past couple years since and I can't believe it's taken me this long to get into the album. Every song is so perfectly orchestrated and even songs that I thought I wouldn't get into like Electioneering I ended up loving due to Radiohead's meticulous craftsmanship. Well I was excited to hear what others had to say about Ok Computer and went on here to watch some videos and after scrolling a little bit I was so surprised that Jschlatt had made a video on it years ago! You're one of my favorite creators and I'm so glad you have a love for the album as well. It was definitely a surprise but a really pleasant one. I wish I could've watched your video essay on Subterranean Homesick Alien. This is my personal favorite album and I'm so happy to have discovered it
Radiohead: “No one is allowed to make videos about why we’re so good!”
Manually striking Schlatt's essays? Truly disgusting, that Radiohead would do this horrible thing.
binging the series. sorry that it had to finish the way it did:( copyright sucks
i just started to fall in love with radiohead again recently, so seeing you also be a radiohead fan was so cool.
(p.s. do whatever you want but....your analytical videos are so fucking good! i hope you consider making something like this again in the future)
I just discovered this. I don't see your content, at least a ton, but i just... Want more of this. Continue making this please, i beg you. And, i would LOVE a second Chanel only for more serious and meaningfull videos
this is how i found schlatt and the others, schlatt still remains my favourite ever. love u heaps man!
bring this baaaaaccckkkk
cries
Hey I just found this video. I wrote a 30ish page undergrad musical analysis research paper on Radiohead. I've literally listened to hundreds of hours of their songs picking out every instrument and theme for school and I'm still not tired of them.
im the biggest radiohead fan and also agree its the best album of all time. makes me so happy to find a funny youtuber who also loves radiohead
Your a Radiohead fan????!???? Based!
omg he sounds like an entirely different person
I love ok computer
I heard this album so late.......HOW THE FUCK CAN AN ALBUM BE SO GOOD??

schlatt you should finish these video essays
would have loved to see what he'd say about no surprises, fuckin love that song
I wish his video on no surprises got realised :( my fav
oh good schlatt sounds so different now.
Man I miss this series. Sure I like his new content, it's funny and creative in many ways, but it's still sad that he only did three videos of the series.
I'm a bit disappointed that I didn't see these Radiohead videos before a Tribute to Minecraft.
You have actual talent, and I hope someday you can make time and entertain us again.
You’re a man of culture
i wish you could have kept going with this series....i was really excited when i found this video and then i realised there are only two parts.
HELL YEAH!
Just noticed these are in 4K so i watched them on my TV, holy shit dude this looks good.
would've loved to see karma police... still amazing video essays, major inspiration for my sociology culminating
Fuck, I'm so upset this never got finished
"The paranoia I felt at the time was much more related to how people related to each other, but I was using the terminology of technology to express it. Everything I was writing was actually a way of trying to reconnect with other human beings when you’re always in transit. That’s what I had to write about because that’s what was going on, which in itself instilled a kind of loneliness and disconnection.”
just a quote from an interview with thom yorke that summarises the album pretty well :)
need more of these man
I’m glad I found this and I wished you finished it. Radiohead and Thom Yorke should be recognized for what they are not for just the creep singers
fuck i miss this
HYYYYPE
i... jschlatt made an ok computer essay series. or at least tried. wow. thanks.
I'm excited 😄
Truly disgusting that some people would do this horrible thing
Schlatt, it's 25th anniversary of this album hahaha lmao
I didn’t know shlatt liked Radiohead
He starts to sound a lil bit more like shlat now
this is fucking excelent schlatt
Ngl thought radiohead was sirenhead and was wondering why there were 12 videos about it
Hey man are you going to continue this series or other series like it because these are very well made and i believe now that you have a wider audience you can start making these again and see what your new viewers think about it.
Pull me ooooooout of the air crash
hype
Crisp title screen
“Don’t leave....Don’t leave”- True love awaits/A moon shaped pool (please make more essays :(
Bruh jschlatt sounding hella different in 2017
WHAT THE FUCK HOW DID I NOT KNOW THIS EXISTED
A sad loss of potential for me-going back to reflect on this channel's past, I'd just love to hear you gush over music you love. Analyzing music in general is a big passion of mine, and I wish to this day I'd gotten to hear some of your insights.
fuck saying ok boomer, now we be saying ok computer
damn bro you got some fine taste
Didn't know jschlatt was a Radiohead fan
jschlatt is radiohead pilled?????? never knew
I has this vinyl and I like ur taste mayne

im sad
6 Year anniversary
I watched this on the shitter
When he was normal...
if anyone sees this I know i'm 4 years late, but I don't get OK Computer, im trying to like it/get into it, but I just dont see what everyone else sees. I would love to truly understand this album. but im stumped, the peaks are more like a bump on a globe and feel almost forgettable and meaningless, any advice of explanation? I just dont see how this is a amazing album, is there something wrong with ne, please help!
Nvm, it clicked
@@lmthethriller What made it click for you? I felt like it was an OK album after the first listen, but I kept listening to it again and couldn't stop listening to Radiohead afterwards.
@@sunk3rn I still think its an OK album, but I think it was understanding Paranoid android and then airbag, and everything just clicked, I think its pretty good, not a 10/10 still, but like a 7/10 but Ive only listened like 30 times, gotta give it more time, whats your favorite Radio Head album?
@@lmthethriller My favourite is definitely OK Computer, it just has so many God tier tracks and makes a cohesive unit out of them that is unlike anything else I've heard. The Bends is second. It isn't as good, but it does have tracks that are killer, although sound more like mainstream rock(My Iron Lung, Black Star, Just, Nice Dream) and also Bulletproof and Fake Plastic trees which influenced Thom Yorke's singing so much.
OK
COMPUTER
👍
And now he hates radiohead. Greatest character development I have seen
Not really
T. person who saw his Spotify playlist, which included 4 of their albums entirely
Where tf are my streams I'm Christopher Murray Boi
Does anyone know what the Outro music to this is?
Wun Two - Bronto
Why you didnt finish??
I'm so glad that other people have the same love for Radiohead as I do
this man listens to weezer
omg schlatt is such a music nerd lmao
me
His voice here is jarringly average-pitched.
No
Truly disgusting, that some "people" would do this horrible thing.
