As a grizzlies fan, watching Dillon Brooks & JJJ try to be closers broke me. We need a more efficient 3 or 4. We can’t have both on the floor at the same time no matter how good that defense is. They have been so inconsistent & bad on offense the entire playoffs & this is where a star is truly suppose to shine. Bane was our XFactor last series, I need another Grizzly to step it up for 3 games straight & be an XF other than Ja.
As for the next round...sloppy play like this results in golden state being down 20 by the 4th. They'd likely fight to come back, maybe bring it within 10, but this was not a good win by any means. Credit to the grizzlies for leading the game as long as they did. Golden state, when clicking, are borderline unstoppable. When they arent clicking, and they dont fully clamp you, you've got solid winning chances.

This was a crazy game. It’s like watching the early 2000s. Refs didn’t call that many fouls which is good. And if i’m not mistaken, there is ZERO “watching the replay to check for a possible flagrant foul”. The only replay they did was the challenge for Green’s blocking foul in the 4th. Our Warriors got lucky. If Brooks hit that hero 3 ball which is just a bit short or JJJ’s miss in the paint, it’s going to be a different story. Being tied 2-2 against this young and hungry Grizzlies team with home court advantage is dangerous. I’m very happy that Warriors are now up 3-1 and hopefully they can end it in game 5.
