That was solid from Fiji with 13 men for best part of game , well done Wales . Can’t help but think though adding the other 60% of Fiji’s players left behind in Southern Hemisphere would have been different. We shall Wales again at World Cup yet again in same pool .

A shame Fiji's lack of discipline cost them the match. They looked strong and confident at the beginning. They were playing loose and Wales was looking tight, stressed. A stupid red card later, the momentum shifted, and Wales...well, that was fun to watch.
With Fiji this world class coaching management team, wish they would have more time together and more tournaments against tier 1 teams
Thankfully the Drua will have more than enough time together in SR against quality opposition such as the kiwi sides.
You shouldn't really coach Fiji. Just let them be themselves. It's what the British coach did previously and they won things.

@bencilpa2 I too thought the grounding looked suspect. You have to have control of the ball when grounding.

As a Welsh fan I'm not impressed with the performance yes our side was weak and its good to see new faces getting caps but we got very lucky it's a shame that fiji can't stay disciplined because they are quality to watch

Doesn't take a genius to figure out that Fiji would've won had it not been for eroni sau's brain fade and overall indiscipline. But still a good game nonetheless despite the average refereeing on both teams anyways.

I’m not trying to be annoying I swear. But I looked at it about 20 times before commenting. I can’t see any reason why that try shouldn’t be given. Why is it a knock on? His arms make contact with ball and don’t separate from the ball until the ball hits the ground. There’s no reason to not give it therefore it has to be given. I admit he’s not in control of it but as it’s over the line he doesn’t need to be. The on field decision understandably was a try. So then you need definite evidence that it isn’t. There’s no evidence to definitely say Louis Rees Zammit lost contact with the ball so it has to be a try. The downward pressure in minimal but you can see ball change it’s direction of flight and go towards the ground. There’s no other force to make it do that other than zammit. I understand how we can confidently all say that’s a knock on from a safe distance away. But I feel if any of us were actually refereeing this game this would be a very difficult call. Again I’m not trying to be annoying I swear. If anything I want you to change my mind. But as i stand now I can’t see any reason why that’s not a try.
@@jonniesmith9394 An identical try was disallowed in the Lions vs Boks series because there was no "downward pressure" and the player was not "in complete control" of the ball.
@@soundscapemusic8980 I don’t remember the incident you’re talking about but if that’s true then I think the laws need to be adjusted in order to stop inconsistencies. IMO it’s a try and i don’t have a problem with it as long as it’s interpreted that way every time. If it isn’t then laws need to changed to make it less ambiguous.

Too many cards are being given for contact to the head. Anyone who has played rugby knows these things happen from time to time; its part of the game. We are seeing a yellow or red for head contact in pretty much every game nowadays.

Our island teams always their very bad disabling that cost them their chance to win any games. You cant play a good game with only 13 players on the field because of Yellow n Red Card they should think what are the outcomes of short team players on the field for the rest of the game. Very tough and its always a very good advantage for the other team they had a full 15 players on the field. That was cost Fiji against Wales today. So all our island teams needs to be aware of those errors n Referees decision.

TMO should have allowed that try in my opinion. To make a call on the Ball being out was NOT accurate ! Yes ! If the camera was on the sideline however it wasn't, Simply you can't judge the range of distance while being on the field.
